You should see the reaction of Canadian Twitter (communists) to the Emergency Act declaration being approved by Parliament. They are positively ecstatic over the government boot coming down on any kind of dissenter.
There was even a Liberal member of parliament who, in full seriousness, said that "honk honk" is secret code for "heil Hitler".

Evangeline Lily is one of the only reasons I actually liked that character. She actually has respect for the source material, and actually elevated the writing for her character, which in other hands, would have come across as abrasive. So of course she's "problematic." Do I agree with her in everything? No, not really. But she seems sincere, worked hard, and did justice to the character. She's a great actress, and that's what really matters here.

Regardless of whether anyone agrees or disagrees with the motives of the Freedom Convoy, the Canadian government has been horrifically overstepping its boundaries in addressing the protests. There hasn't been a single human killed, nor a business burned, nor a riot broken out. Evangeline Lilly did nothing wrong.

While I admire the sentiment, Geeky, when the government is doing their best to take away the rights and freedoms of the people who live there, we SHOULD call it out. What's happening in Canada, Australia, and New Zealand isn't really that far off from what's happening in China, and we have no problem at all calling out China.

The problem is that a lot of these people believe they have “sat down and talked it out,” so they won’t listen to that advice. Typically though, once you get them talking, you find out their version of “sit down and talk it out” is really “I told them all my correct opinions and they didn’t bow down in repentance of their wrong beliefs.” As long as that attitude persists, we won’t get any less divided.
But don’t give up. There are people out there who are trying to listen and hear the concerns of others. We just have to wade through a lot of muck to find each other.

Trudeau is unhinged and only thing worse is the support in government by even the majority opposition party who does nothing... You will see multiple Indigenous groups and ever Canadian from all walks of life supporting. The counter protesters small and repeating lines by CBC or Trudeau... None even going into the protest that had people of all over Canada united.

Imagine trying to cancel a person for voicing the most rational opinion possible about simply opening a dialogue between a leader of a nation and millions of protesting citizens widely affecting by government instituted policy.
