awesome. on tweeter i had commented to webby (he had asked people to say what they remembered most from Bill) that one thing I really enjoyed having watched some videos of Bill was simply watching him doing weekly analysis and learning from that, the attention to detail, etc. that conversation on twitter was on 6/27 just before he was on IBD live ;o) - Mike replied with what he said in this clip, that it was likely bill's greatest skill - and he had many great ones. Thanks again for sharing (as a side note, no doubt Bill would be extremely proud of you guys for sharing this info as he so graciously did).
Glad you liked the video! Another Mike video will be dropping next Monday. If you haven't already, subscribe to my channel to get an alert when the video goes live!
Great stuff as always Alissa. Thanks for sharing! Really loved the Market School stuff Mike and Charles had in 2015, do they still use those signals? A friend of mine made a Market School indicator, which is so awesome to navigate the market with.
Yes they do -- was speaking with Charles in May about it and he's definitely keeping close track of the market school signals, one of the reasons why he was bullish earlier this year before the broader trading community was!
@@AlissaCoramIBD Such a powerful tool to have. I learned so much from that school. Mike and Charles, among my favorites like i said before. We are so lucky to be getting so much golden nuggets from the very best.
Mike, do you look at the cross-sectional correlations between the highly touted Can-Slim factors and current one week returns? I would expect notable correlations between one-week returns and RS, EPS, Composite Rating, 3 qtr Earning and Sales Growth., etc. But the correlations are close to zero suggesting heavy public exposure and arbitrage. Is all the money being made by skilled coaches conversant in reading price and volume? I watch all your pieces with great interest and I'm in the second year of subscribing to Marketsmith but I haven't made a nickel following the classic base formation patterns when they do occur. I'm more of a day trader in the face of my best bets going immediately south, so there's that. Of course, six years from now, which one of the famed Can-Slim investors says is the learning curve, maybe I will. I don't see much in the way of statistical evidence supporting Can-Slim's trusted factors. Wonder what your take is on this? Certainly not an easy money proposition in my experience.
thanks for video. For my curiousity, the guest and host speaker said the date of 1May in the chart option expiration date that drag up the volume. However, it was not. Am I missunderstanding?
To me, ANET is not a hot stock right now. Its fundamentals are good like FSLR/SEDG,....., but market players are chasing AI-related chip and software stocks: NVDA/AVGO/MDB/PANW/NOW/TSLA.......
Thank you for posting this video Alissa... Webby is such a wise and humble person...

Give us more from Webby, that was amazing.

That’s definitely one of the points made in the video! Fundamentals are great, but chart action far from perfect.
