I like this map for geese and bison. I go back to it quite frequently. I especially like the upper-left portions that remind me a lot of Layton and New England Mountains.
Me and my brother had good goose hunting there in the past, but these days we see werry few flocks and they are hard to call down only a few will break? i moved my goose setup to yukon, it seems to work though. Also mallards seems to have disapeared from layton lake like a week ago. I tried all sorts of things to fix it. But not a duck in the air on my map anymore. It is so strange..
@@zhaezz84 I don't even use the Goose Caller on Hirschfelden. There are a couple spots I have 20 decoys setup and a Tripod Stand about 50m (54 yards) away and about 4-8 geese land every few minutes. So there's a bit of sitting and waiting, but not too much. I just take a shotgun, like the Couso with 5 shells, and get two on the ground and another 1 or 2 as they fly away if I'm lucky. I'm not one of those players that just has a million in-game dollars built up (because I don't grind lakes for thousands of the same species) so I have to do this every now and then to build up money. It's not as much money as it used to be and not as much as red deer, bison or bears, but it's more consistent and guaranteed than all of those.
I love layton lake. It has all sorts of terrain and animals. I hunt it for elk, bear,white&blacktail deer and moose. i dont really like hunting small game.

I love hunting roe deer in this map. If you're in a slump and not having any luck finding/getting good shots on other animals, in comes the roe deer to break the streak. Plus the red deer are surprisingly abundant in Herschfelden.
I'll have to visit it again. Its a beautiful map, always has been. My all time favorite map is an older map, Medved.
Hirshfeldon is actually good again is so true this one lake one this map has given me a minimum weight piebald fallow, 2 diamond fallow, troll fox, female piebald fallow, and a troll red deer.
I've been hunting this map for a lil over a year now and the field have always been my go to my first diamond was a fallow in the field feeding
Would be cool to see a pheasant/goose hunt on this map!
You inspire me to hunt to fish to not be afraid you are the best person in the whole
since launch i've hunted those fields and always had pretty good hunts, alots of diamonds just always hunted them at feeding times
I killed an eight mythical red deer on that map when I first started playing, which was like a few weeks ago
As IRL hunter from Central Europe this is my favourite map ❤
