Great comparison video as usual. I am team authentic again, but this is not as good as last year's. Not enough detailing in the fabric/no pattern. The orange used on the side panels isn't great either. They should of put the red devil logo on the back of the collar like the new away shirt has. The new Snapdragon sponsor logo looks far better than team viewer! I would give it a 7/10 whereas last year's was a 9/10. 👹

Yes if you could pls. I found last year the authentic fit was smaller in the home shirt than away n 3rd shirt, I ended up getting a large in the home and mediums in the other 2
Adidas making authentic kits very different now vs the replica. Started with last seasons away kit with the whole patch sponsors. What was once subtle differences isn't really subtle anymore. The collar differences this season for the home and away authentic kit is too different with the replica home/away kits. Authentic is better this time around.
I always preferred replica plus it's more durable as well as made the shirts come to life, plus when it comes to washing no problems, but authentic you will have to wash it on a low cycle, which might effect the shirt as well .
Oh yes replica is much more durable and harder wearing. You’re not supposed to use fabric softener on authentic either, not many people know that as it weakens the heat applied transfers ⚽️⚽️
The fact that a replica shirt cost £80 is a fucking joke. Should be £40 at the most, doesn't matter what club it is.

I went for the authentic one long sleeve too . I would have preferred a bit of black on the collar, last season one had a bit more detail too .. But nice shirt overall
What size did you go for? Did you size up, or went true to size?
I do much prefer last season. This to me is a big step down but hope it grows on me ⚽️⚽️
@@mach_1887 I went for my regular size which is medium, with the number 7 and the premier league badge, fits well , Think if I went a size up the length of the shirt would be too long, I’m 5ft 8, And didn’t want it to look like a dress 😅

Great review btw. I like the heat rdy versions and as a United fan most of my shirts are the authentic ones. The only downside is i have to hand wash them instead of having the luxury of putting it inside the washing machine
That’s true. You can put them on a quick wash, just don’t add fabric softener ⚽️⚽️⚽️
I use my washer, use the delicates setting following the water temperature recommended on the tag and they will be fine. Been doing it like that for 6 years with no issue.
I'm sure it's probably due to the different material, but I do wish the badge on the authentic one was also embroidered
It is to do with chafing on the reverside yes but even still, last year and all previous years it had texture and design. This year just plain 🥺

They have since changed I think from last year onwards. Even the replica are slim fit as they put it
Sheesh. This, its pairing away shirt and the Chelsea home shirt were leaked quite a while before the end of last season. To see it actually manufactured feels a bit scary, just how accurate these leaks have become lately.

I really like it, it reminds me of the 18/19 home kit. Different colour adidas stripes, but this is a bit nicer. I prefer the authentic, the detail is nicer.
I generally buy player version anyway, because they fit me better lol

This season adidas jerseys not good enough as last season, less details and the quality of the fabric looks different, you can also see Argentina jersey also looks not good as the previous..

I picked this 1 up nice & early. I was thoroughly disappointed with not only the bizarre gradient design, but the overall finish & texture of the authentic.
It felt like a washing machines worst nightmare & like it’ll rip if I squint at it😂 I’ve always been authentic or nothing, but the streamline & skinny thin idea is a step too far this time.

Would you say someone who is 6 foot & around 89-90 kgs that a size L is the best fit for this year’s kits?
I would say yes as it’s similar size to my Son. He wears L also
I’m gutted that I’ve haven’t got them yet as I’m away on holiday but I’m going to get both versions in xl as sizing looks smaller I’m not a fan of the orange on the sides wished adidas kept them like a dark red shade im rating this 8/10
I hope it grows on me but at the moment I’m giving 7/10. Last seasons was a strong 9/10

I'm usually a medium when i bought England euro 2024 shirt was way too tight it says this 1 is a slim fit so hope medium fits me as i got last year shirt a size M

Everyone has preferences, but this season's authentic shirts are shaping up to be quite an improvement to the previous season. No weird forward slashes on my shirt lol
Last year there was a size difference between the replica and authentic with the authentic being a bit of a loser fit, would you say its the same this year?
I would say this year obviously the length is smaller on the authentic but I would say the replica is just slightly bigger overall.

if you ask me this is such a disappointment as compared to the 2023/2024 home jersey. The only thing different on the new one is the Snapdragon logo. The 2023/2024 home jersey is way more beautiful, it has the lancashire rose weaved all over the jersey so nicely, it also has the lancashire rose on the inside. Not sure what ManU were thinking while designing this new jersey. It does not stand out at all. Disappointed......thank you for your review though. Appreciate it.
