Apparently omniverse isn't a reboot. I guess its the artstyle change led me to believe that. Maybe I will give it an actually chance and watch one day on Twitch or something.
I hope you give it a try. The world building in omniverse is better as compared to the other Ben 10 shows.
I will say this, It's best moments start from season 5 and there is a chance you might not like the first 4 seasons.
Still a good show tho
Wes you need to read a manga called Monster and if you have time for it I hope you watch 20th century boys too.
They are mystery seinen mangas with great build up and side characters that feel more grounded.
@@itsamebenjamintennyson1230 Monster is GOATED Johan is one of my favorite characters in the anime
I hope you give Transformers prime a chance too. It has one of the best stories in cartoon that I have watched. Also It has great hype moments and fights. I didn't want to leave to these many replies though.
The fact the OG Teen Titans was replaced by Teen Titans Go proves Thanos was right
I mean Teen Titans Go isn't even that bad. I've watched it and I actually really enjoyed it
@@sulaiman7988 No matter how hard I try enjoying it, it's just too lame. Give me the OG teen titans anytime.
@Odd Revolver yeah I haven't watched any of the latest stuff
History likes to rewrite Teen Titans as this serious and joyless show for mature audiences. That's how the TTG writers portray it at least. But that show was also really funny and could get really silly and over-the-top when they wanted to. The Mumbo and Mad Mod episodes prove this. It had the right balance between action, comedy, and drama with characters that you really care about.
nah teen titans go makes sense because the whole group in itself is a joke anyway, atleast them being a parody gave them purpose
Xiaolin showdown is so underrated I wish people talk more about that show Chase Young was such cool villain
I love Xiaolin showdown chase young is the best villain
I remember when it was on Kids WB along with Johnny Test.
His voice actor also voiced Chester in the Fairly Oddparents.
I remembered it but
@@michaelmahabir213 Jason Marsden? That dude is really underrated as a voice actor.
Alternative title: How nostalgic can we get in one video?
Dexter's Laboratory, Teen Titans, Codename: Kids Next Door, Sonic Boom, Samurai Jack & The Powerpuff Girls caught my interest, not gonna lie.. But Totally Spies... THAT WAS MY JAM!

Just look at the 'GOATED!' and 'A-Tier' sections and ask yourself why people thought Nickolodeon could compete.
EDIT: Also...Toonami. I rest my case.
lol and it aint close CN > Nick
@SAM They did have bangers but not enough. TMNT 2012 is absolutely great though!
@SAM Only Avatar and Danny phantom can compete with those A listed and goated tiers from CN lmao.
@SAM Beyblade was on cartoon network, disney and disney xd in India.
@@am2382 invader zim alone renders this invalid
Alien Force is definitely Goated tier is one of Cartoons that most resembles a Shonen anime along with Teen Titans and Avatar.
You right
Im rewatching it and i agree lol
Alien Force and Ultimate Alien both deserve goated
To me I find the og one better
Sometimes I think about how Naruto and Ben 10 both started on Cartoon Network in the same year and how similar they actually are.
Damn right! Teen titans the GOAT. The GOAT!!
THE GOAT!!!!!!!!!
Idk, if we counting all cartoons Avatar might beat it.
I get why having a completely serious show about Minibricks characters ruins immersion but Ninjago's story really went hard.
I watched that show back when it was airing. When I think back on it, it’s actually incredible how well written certain parts were.
@@hybrid5860 The show is still airing my dude! Season 15 is the most recent one!
As someone who is finally giving Ninjago a proper viewing (because I only watched the first two seasons when I was younger), I can safely say that it is probably one of the best action cartoons in Cartoon Network history, or at least top 3 best action cartoons. Here is why:
1. It has one of the best soundtracks on Cartoon Network/
2. It has some very compelling and interesting story arcs
3. The villains and their motives are very well written
4. The amount of lore exceeds anything that any other Cartoon Network action show has had
5. It doesn't try to appeal for kids, and things such as deaths and dark topics are frequent.
As of the time I'm writing this, I'm only on season 9 and there are like 13 seasons, so the fact that I'm ALREADY calling it the best CN action show despite the fact that I'm not even caught up to it is a testament to how good it is. It is basically Avatar the Last Airbender except with Lego's and starts off more chilidsh. The only thing I haven't liked about it so far is the first season due to how child friendly it was and the animation was kinda off at times. But season 2 and above of Ninjago is definitely some of the best content Cartoon Network has ever aired.
NGL Secret Saturday and Generator Rex are severely underrated Cartoon Network gem
Generator Rex and Secret Saturday were one of the best shows. I saw the new Ben 10 series has Generator Rex and it's pretty cool.
Same with Sym-bionic Titan
Facts
All three also canonically take place in the same universe (although generator rex exists in another dimension from ben10/secret saturdays)
@@hydromancer4916 Facts🤣🤣That's Crazy that they all connected to Ben 10
Drop everything your doing and watch Over the Garden Wall. Especially during spooky season.
maybe i will give it a watch on Twitch
One of the best short-series cartoons ever imo.
It's really good. If someone were to like shows like Adventure Time and Gravity Falls, it would be perfect for them.
Saw it for the first time this year and it’s already one of my favorite cartoons of all time
Bruh when the lamp showed the beast
Literally the only time I’ve screamed at my tv
Scooby-Doo: Mystery Incorporated is in my opinion the most GOATED adaptation of the Mystery Gang, and it gets dark asf. Tons of character development from both the main cast and the supporting characters as well, a very unique continuing story, and an atmosphere that both new and old fans can get in to.
SDMI was good, but man Velma was hard to like earlier on.
Yep
@@chrisrockett5897 Big facts. Her relationship with Shaggy was the most unnecessary thing to happen on the show. And it just made her rude asf.
@@chrisrockett5897 it was hard for me to like her at all.
Agreed
Ninjago honestly does have a whole lot of potential to be great. It just needs to lose the lego, rework the characters and some of the world and it could be on the same level of Avatar with the right writers. It has such an interesting world with an interesting concept.
1000 percent agree! if anything it wouldve been on xialin showdowns level. it was just to hard to take seriously with the lego concept
Why would you prefer it without the lego?
@@WesSideLive Also the OST was pretty good. I think the main theme song was a bit much but the background music is absolutely lovely. "Overture" is one of those themes that get stuck in my head constantly.
@@newwaveinfantry8362 Lego just makes it seem more childish than actually serious, ninjago had a great story but deserved another type of animation or production.
I agree i still gave it a chance cuz a friend wanted me to watch it and while it was hard to get past the artsyle the show was pretty ass until season 4 or so after that it got really good, I have seen some shorts where they did change the artstyle and animation and it is amazing. Honestly if the show looked like the other lego show with gokus va in it it would be way better.
Mucha Lucha, Teen Titans, Xialin Showdown, and Code Lyoko we’re what I looked forward to when I got home from school, under appreciated gems, thanks for bring back those memories Wes.
Code Lyoko was and still is one of my fav shows full stop. Very underated show mad respect to my boi for showing it the love it deserves. GOATED!

The only Cartoon Network shows I remember to this day is the original Ben 10, Alien Force, Omniverse, Courage, Teen Titans and Kids Next Door. A lot of people seem to think Omniverse was a reboot and give it flak but fail to realize its just a weird animation change, it had me in the first half but I quickly got used to it. Point is, its definitely WAY better than they want to give it credit for
Ed edd n eddy will always be my number 1 childhood show.
Agreed.
the pink doggo is #1
Symbiotic Titan got did dirty. Should've gotten another season.
Exactly, I loved this show so much!
Yeah and Genndy Tartakovsky was pissed about it. Which is why he and Craig McCraken both left CN because it proved that the company only cared about money instead of delivering quality content from then on.
@@yodaddyrc1220 I'm telling you, Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network are allergic to money.

You NEEED to watch Batman the animated series! The atmosphere, action, storyline, characters, and let's not forget it brought us the best Batman and Joker performances in history!
Rank these three from best to worst.
BTAS
Teen Titans
Young Justice
I'm sorry, but even though that Batman show was nice, nothing compares to Batman TAS.
Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamel are the best Batman and Joker voices period.

@@yodaddyrc1220 The same order, but teen titans and young justice are equally fantastic to me
Man gumball watching now I didn’t even realize some of the jokes were so dark😂
Gumball is basically a kids version of South Park. With how satirical and adult-oriented a lot of the humor is. They're clearly plugged into stuff that's happening in the real world and love to make fun of it.
Steven Universe had potential to be one of the best Cartoon Network shows of all time, but it fell off hard after season 1-2
I always thought Season 1 was the worst season considering it was 52 episodes long and only a handful of episodes really mattered.
@@munkee_man Yeah. Season 1 was mostly filler.
For what I saw and heard its main problem is it was made by and for the sjw crowd
Omniverse is a solid show that really fleshed out the lore of Ben 10. I don’t think it is as good as the series before it, but it does not belong in the same place as the Reboot
Alien force and ultimate alien did that already. Omni was just for toy sales.

Ozzy & Drix would help us through this pandemic if they were real.
I feel like Generator Rex was a show produced either ahead or before it’s time. It had a blend of action and comedy that hid the horrifying fact that anyone and anything could suddenly become a monster.
Generator Rex is SUPER UNDERRATED, and that crossover with Ben 10? JESUS I almost wet myself with excitement
yeah Teen Titans Go is actually hilarious. Also, been rewatching Total Drama, that show was amazing, especially first and third seasons
Yeah, TTG's honestly aight when it isn't shoving meta jokes about it never being OG TT down our throats. With that being said, it belongs in C-tier.

YOO FACTS!!!
duck dodgers was amazing

The talent show ep is legendary
Queen Tyr'anhnee was one of my first crushers, she looks like blackface and has no mouth...but damn she was bad.
I've heard lots of people level the complaint against Ninjago's Lego style, but personally I never had a problem with it. It's like watching a chibi version of an anime, like Rock Lee's Ninja Pals was for Naruto. Sure you could see it as super childish and silly, but you could also see it as a stylistic choice and follow along with the plot despite it. And the animation in the show is continually improving, the latest season in particular had some of the best-looking water I've ever seen. I'd even put it toe to toe with anime.
I guess my main point is: before you let the style influence you, try actually watching the show and it may just surprise you.
I feel like the main downfall was that it restricted what the writers could make of the story, considering how family friendly the lego brand is, and wouldn’t want a dark show tied to their product.
Combined with how much lego cares about toy sales, the reason why a character was never completely killed off was because of lego’s greed
@@KolchaksGhost Well they killed off Harumi, Morro, and Chen, so even if they're villains that's three people right there. Plus I'd argue that even with the Lego format, they still had plenty of very dark storylines. S10 is basically just demons taking over Ninjago, and the latest one has a member of the team get removed in a really heartbreaking manner. And don't even get me started on Skybound.
@@KolchaksGhost I might have believed that at on point, but there is a particular season where the show creators said "You know what? Forget this, let's go as dark as we possibly can, no one's gonna stop us!"
And in that season (season 8) the had a girl seek revenge on the main characters because she blames the main characters for the death of her parents (we see them die in a flashback). So she orchestrates a terrorist attack that kills her adoptive parents to gain the sympathy of the ninja, seduces their leader and tricks him into helping her resurrect an evil figure from the main character's past in a demonic ritual.
All this was done to physically and emotionally devastate said main character and in the end, she dies in the exact same way her parents did because she could not control the evil she unleashed. It was exceedingly dark and mature not just for a Lego show but for any animated kids show. I still can't believe they went that far but I love that they did! This character single handily dragged Ninjago into a new level of intensity!
@@tarabletv "well they killed off Harumi"
I'd put Foster's in B tier but it's criminal that you've never seen the two OG DC animated shows lol
Fosters was goated
@Haku Yuki finally ppl that understand nigga said teen titans go was better than it🤦🏽♂️
Disney one better have Fillmore up on Goated for THE SCENE alone.
Imma fold Wes if it ain’t goated
Filmore was dat nigga
Ninjago had an absolute killer of a plot. It's held back by the Lego aspect really but such a fantastic show
The lego aspect was great they made bionicle
I don't think being Lego holds it back, that's just the art style. Art style alone doesn't make a series good or bad, writing does. And Ninjago's writing is phenomenal which makes it a fantastic show.
Kinda upset with Green Lantern: The Animated Series in mid-tier, not gonna lie.
same that show was underated it wasnt teen titans or justice league type of good but it was good
That show introduced me to the character of Kilowag but I don't really remember much from it. Was it really that good? Cause I am considering checking it out again.
@@munkee_man yeah it was pretty good it got canned after 1 season i think
It was boring in my opinion, granted I haven’t watched it in years.
Kilowag carried
You a real man of culture if you saw the best shows while they premiered on TV.
Adventure Time was the most impactful show as it carried CN on it's back during it's low period and inspired the best of the current generation of shows. The heavily sorry driven and dark nature was amazing. The whole flame princess phase and Finn's love journey resonated with me a lot.
Thank you for giving Johnny Test justice. It wasn't the greatest but definitely enjoyable.
ruclips.net/video/n3uVwxAoUdo/видео.html Gotta love Johnny Test.
@@LEL-Lord Cartoons are too afraid to take jokes that far these days.
@@munkee_man CN: Claims to have blown up Malaysia
Nick: 😲 You did not just do that
CN: I'll do it again if you don't be careful
Believe it or not the reboot is not bad it's pretty much the same.
With regards to Ninjago, you just gotta overlook the style it presents itself in. I know it's about yellow Lego people, but Ninjago is so amazing in spite of that. I kid you not when I say they pull off emotional and mature moments that most other cartoons can only dream of. The 3D animation is cutting edge, the action is great and above all, the characters and stories are phenomenal.
Look, you just have to go in with an open mind and look past the fact that it's about Lego people. If you give it an honest shot, you'll eventually become invested and forget that you are watching a Lego show because the show takes itself seriously.
I know a lot of people who don't give anime or other quality animated content a chance because they say "It's a cartoon, it's for kids" and it's really narrow-minded because you they'd like the show if they only gave it a chance. It's the same with Ninjago, you just have to give it an honest change and accept that the show can be good even though the character are Lego. I kid you not when I say some seasons are on par with shows like Clone Wars and Avatar, it really is that good and takes risks no other animated show has the guts to pull off.
Dang, Wes didnt watch the 90s Batman series actually surprised. I even have a younger bro 2 years older than you whos seen it. If you get around to it its a great watch man. Legit best cartoon of all time.
Thanks! I've been trying to remember the show juniper Lee for the past decade. I could never recall what it was called as a kid and wanted to rewatch and see if it was as good as I remember
My man did justice on Static Shock, Samurai Jack and Ed Edd n Eddy.
I don't know anyone alive or dead who enjoyed " Talking Orange". I couldn't say "bro" for a while after that annoying episode.

Adventure Time is GOD tier. I consider it to be CN's answer to Avatar due to how it perfectly combines comedy, adventure, and drama with lovable characters, an awesome setting, and incredible lore. It holds a special place in my heart forever.
I see you on sports talk with brodes all the time now you're here that's awesome.
Adventure Time is on par with Avatar. It has brilliant writing and handles dark concepts very subtly and maturely. Easily a top 5 western cartoon of all time. I don’t understand anyone who says it fell off. It literally got better every season until it peaked at season 8 and couldn’t get any better. I think it’s probably my personal favorite western cartoon as well. That show was the reason I started actually watching tv for the plot lol
@@thewavyprince5691 Yeah, man. I've been a big fan of his for a while.
@@sprawlz6466 Seasons 7-10 are just as good if not better than Seasons 3-4.
@Haku Yuki I feel like Regular Show suffers from it's long run time just like Adventure Time. The show is known for being pretty irregular despite its title but after a while, the irony behind its title begins to lose that when we've gone through all this crazy stuff over and over and it really does begin to feel like a Regular Show.
The shows that deserve a tier of their own is the Total drama series
There's just so much to talk about in terms of that show. The whole "it's a cartoon that's supposed to be a reality competition show" dynamic made it so unique.
@@philly_sports1558Very true 🔥 first of its kind that and also the fact that it clearly wasn't for kids🤣🤣
He has to dissect it further by the 6 or 7 shows within that one entity.
@@Wonderlandhype Yeah true ok I will change it to the first 3. Island, Action and World Tour. Those were the best ones with the original cast
@@JustKeepBreathing01 Yeah Roth wasn't even in the same ballpark as the first 3 but it was okay if you ignore that Chris is a sociopath the whole time (and it gets worse), All Stars is so bad that it deserves its own video along with whatever the fuck PI was trying to do, and I still haven't seen RR but I know that Owen, Geoff, and Noah make a comeback on that season.
Atomic Betty was really good but I don’t blame you for not remembering this cartoon because it was damn underrated.
Atomic Betty was lowkey fire but no one remembers it
exactly, it deserves to be on the same talk with totally spies and Martin Mystery IMO
Honestly... Adventure Time deserves Goated status. Straight up some of the best world building in western animation in general IMO. A fun af cast of characters, plenty of moments that tug at your heartstrings. A really good long going storyline, etc etc. The show is that good.
Also Over the Garden Wall definitely deserves Goated status too.
Nah, AT did have great moments but let's be real so many episodes were just straight filler. The final season was meh and literally sidelined both main characters for PBs family drama. The show really should have ended when Finn defeated the lich or met his mom.
@@BiigiieCheeese I do not agree with that whatsoever. I really enjoy the filler stuff and I think the final season was VERY good. But I do respect your opinion tho.

Tbf he based it off the art style he probably couldn't even get into the show lol
I’m glad this brother understands Teen Titans Go. people really despise the show mostly from the fact of its parent show. the songs they make in that show are heat.
I'm not the biggest fan of TTG for the same reason but I love the TV Knight episodes and 40%,40%,20% is the best episode they have made. But that was even ruined by an hour tv special so I just pretend that it doesn't exist.
I disagree. When it first came out, I didn't like it at all. I only watched the first 30-40 episodes and thought it was stupid and not funny. And I wasn't biased against it because I didn't even watch the original Teen Titans when I was growing up because I was too young. I watched OG Teen Titans for the first time last year and it's one of my favorite shows of all time now. TTG is still trash. Both as a spinoff and as its own thing.
I never watched Teen Titans OG as a kid, so when Go came out I had no bias. And I thought it was decently funny at first, then I started to hate it because it was the only fucking thing ever playing on CN lol
@@philly_sports1558 I don't believe that you only watched TT last year. The reason I think that is because anyone without those rose tinted glasses would likely not say that TT is one of their favorite shows. It doesn't hold up to great. The animation can be pretty stiff sometimes. Season 3 felt completely half assed. Especially by the fact Cyborg beat BrotherBlood with the power of friendship or something like that. BrotherBlood was also an inferior replacement for Slade and didn't really feel all that threatening anyways. Season 1 while having a great story with Slade only felt like a side story when most of the season you get the goofy things. Season 2 while having more great Slade(and Terra) stuff, the Titans just forget Terra exists for a handful of episodes until she's important for the story again. I honestly don't remember much from Season 4 except for the obvious such as Raven, Slade and Trigon. but they don't even really fight Trigon. They just have a mirror match and I can't even remember exactly how they beat him. Season 5 was pretty cluttered but you could tell the overarching story was there for the majority of the episodes at least.
Now don't get me wrong, I love the show. I myself have biases for it but I find it hard to believe any new viewer would say this is their favorite show when there are better ones. This is a great show but it's not as Goated as most remember.
@@munkee_man I did watch Teen Titans for the first time last year and I absolutely loved it.

Does anyone know why in the original Ben 10 movie, they showed 3 different versions of the same scene. There's one where Ben transform into Heatblast. The second one is this alien with the eyes covering its entire body. The I didn't know that also existed was XLR8. It's the same scene of Ben getting hit by a generator that damages his omnitrix but using 3 different kinds of aliens.

Just so you know Wes, "Hi Hi Puffy Ami Yumi Show" is an animated series, where those two Asian ladies voice the main characters. The show is completely animated, but at the beginning of each episode those two actresses say the name of each episode for 3 to 5-seconds. It's a really great show, and I think other people like it too.
Probably common knowledge but they also sang the theme song for the OG Teen Titans

I get what you mean with TTGO! and when it hits it DEFINITELY hits but I just have one question ... why did it had to be Teen Titans? This could have been a different type of show that wasn't related with TT and I _guarantee_ there would be less hate for it.
Enjoyed seeing your placements and the commentary! I think Teen Titans deserves the spot you gave it. A truly great blend of action, comedic moments, and story/character development.

I thank you pastor west (off duty) for giving me the nostalgia feeling and for showing me cartoons that i haven't heard of maybe when i got the time I'll watch some of them got any recommendations? (I've already watched the well-known/known enough ones like billy and mandy, dexter's lab chowder, etc)
Omni verse wasn’t even the reboot lol
Wes, you need to watch Transformers prime. It is one of the best cartoons I have ever watched.
The story is serious and not episodic and the action really picks up and the story telling is great and the hype moments are great.
YES
Yes indeed, although avoid RID 2015.
Transformers Prime is my favorite Transformers thing ever, even as a kid I could tell this show had potential when it first premiered on The Hub.
@@Achieme Yeah, I didn't watch it. The movie ending of Transformers prime was great I don't think there was a reason for continuation.
@@itsamebenjamintennyson1230 good, because even though they bring back 50% of the characters from TFP it's still not good.
I remember watching Ben 10 Alien force for the first time and got absolutely mesmerised. It was such a robust feeling mostly because it felt like Ben was growing with me, I watched him as a kid when I was a kid, and watched him as a teenager when I was a teenager. The plot was solid, the characters were amazing, and it is probably one of the best if not THE BEST follow up series ever.
I'm late and I'm disappointed in myself
I remember loving Puffy AmiYumi as a kid, but I think I'd rank it as mid because I don't remember it being as good as the shows you put in B tier
@WesSideLive Evil con carne and Billy and Mandy are the spin-offs of Grim and evil
lmao i thought it was always the other way around. I thought Evil con carne was the spin off of billy and mandy.
@@WesSideLive yeah it confused me back then too I didn’t even really remember evil con carne I thought it was just billy and mandy lol
I know Wes is a man of culture because he immediately put Code Lyoko in goated without a second thought 🙌🏻
I can’t let you do puffy ami yumi like that bro
Damn Wes, after everything Frankie did for the community???
Whats ironic is she is the only character I actually liked Lol
Even though it has some real life bits, Hi Hi Puffy Ami Yumi is a cartoon. Also they are the same ladies/band that sang the Teen Titans theme.
I remember some of the shows when they aired on other networks like Fox and Kids WB such as Static Shock, Johnny Test, Mucha Lucha, Xiaolin Showdown, Batman Beyond Batman Animated Series, Superman the Animated Series(aka the show that inspired Superman 64 which had potential but turned out to be a dumpster fire. So thank you Warner Bros for causing the game to be crappy and for canceling the PSX game)
I KNEW you were going to give TT it's own tier, I would've done the same exact thing. And I agree with every single S tier. But Batman The Animated series set the premise to what cartoons could be as well as comics, and it introduced new concepts to characters. Harley Quinn was created for the show and the Mr Freeze we get nowadays was because of the show's flawless execution with him. In my opinion it should be in A tier and dare I say next to TT. A must watch
Omniverse is B/A tier. The overall stories with malware and the last season was amazing. It had flaws but when it performed it PERFORMED.
At maximum is at B tier, omniverse didin't need to have existed.
