  • Air India understands that delays can be distressing.
    Rest assured, Air India will do everything possible to ensure your trip goes as planned.
    In the event that you do not receive your baggage within the specified period, please contact Air India personnel in the arrival hall to report the issue and receive assistance in filing a Property Irregularity Report.
    Air India will provide you with a copy for your records once the report is filed.
    👉🏻Domestic
    In the case of domestic flights, if your checked-in baggage is delivered the next day or later, you will be reimbursed for 50% of the cost of purchasing casual or formal clothes like shirts, pants, pyjamas etc., up to a maximum of INR 2000.
    However, this compensation is not applicable when you are returning to your base station or home airport.
    👉🏻International
    If your checked-in baggage is not delivered to you within 24 hours on your visit to a foreign country and you have no access to your wardrobe, you will be entitled to a one-time interim expense of $60 or the equivalent amount in local currency.
    In India, the reimbursement amount is INR 3000.
