I’ve made some undesirable choices in my past out of necessity for survival that I’ll never be able to take back, and at this point in my life I feel like so many people judge me for my past or for who they think I am based on a persona on the internet. I’ve come so far in my life now from where I was, but I really am used to feeling alone and at times I fall back into that place of feeling inferior and judged and misunderstood. Then 2022 happened and this absolute wonderful piece of music came along and just blasted itself to the top of my list. Same with Everything Everywhere All At Once for movies. Thank you Lizzo for being who you are. This song was a part of my life since october 2022 when I learned that my uncle was diagnosed with a staged 4 pancreatic cancer. The doctor told us they didn't know for how long he would still be here, I was devastated. In May 2023, he went back to the hospital because he wasn't feeling well. He stayed here until June 2023. My mom woke me up on the 13th to tell me to get up because we were going to the hospital. I had to say goodbye to him because he asked for the medical assistance to die. He got put in a palliative sedation after we said goodbye to him, and passed away on my birthday a couple days later. Hearing you sing this song during your tour 2 days before I learned I had to say goodbye to him was a healing moment. Oh my god I cried so much during this song, and I know I wasn't the only one in the croud going through some shit. This song helped me so much during this hard journey, even today. I wasn't being supported by my friend at that time and I was feeling alone without any support around me besides my family. I kept listening to Lizzo telling me that I'm special, broken but damn I'm still perfect. You helped me get through this hard moment with this song, you don't even know how much it helped. At 36 years old you kind of have your favorite movies and music set in your mind. Then 2022 happened and this absolute wonderful piece of music came along and just blasted itself to the top of my list. Same with Everything Everywhere All At Once for movies. Great art is being created every day right in front of us. Lizzo is something special.

Thank you Lizzo for being who you are. This song was a part of my life since october 2022 when I learned that my uncle was diagnosed with a staged 4 pancreatic cancer. The doctor told us they didn't know for how long he would still be here, I was devastated. In May 2023, he went back to the hospital because he wasn't feeling well. He stayed here until June 2023. My mom woke me up on the 13th to tell me to get up because we were going to the hospital. I had to say goodbye to him because he asked for the medical assistance to die. He got put in a palliative sedation after we said goodbye to him, and passed away on my birthday a couple days later. Hearing you sing this song during your tour 2 days before I learned I had to say goodbye to him was a healing moment. Oh my god I cried so much during this song, and I know I wasn't the only one in the croud going through some shit.
This song helped me so much during this hard journey, even today. I wasn't being supported by my friend at that time and I was feeling alone without any support around me besides my family. I kept listening to Lizzo telling me that I'm special, broken but damn I'm still perfect. You helped me get through this hard moment with this song, you don't even know how much it helped.

Im tired, I'm tired of fighting, been fighting all my life weather being bullied at school and now as an adult life is hard as hell, I'm not the type to give up easily because I have what I called involuntary will. At this point though I'm broken my spirit is broken. It feels like something is fighting against me. I'm not a lazy person I always get up everyday to better myself and everything I do comes to naught. I have failed at so many things in life so I am tired. I'm done. Today I was busy trying to get comfortable in my disappointments when I stumbled upon this song and omg I immediately burst I to tears. It cut me real deep because it literally evoked things I even have forgotten. I cried a lot to this song especially when reading the comments I immediately went into a panic attack mode. The truth is a lot of us as humans are broken.
