    The E323 was my first keyboard, I used it for years and I started to study music and piano in middle school with it, in 2011. At that time I looked at it as the most complete and beautiful keyboard to ever exist, with hundreds of sounds and rhythm styles, and it could layer and split sounds too, with much envy from my classmates. So much fun and good moments with it. Even now that I upgraded to workstations and synths I look back at it with beautiful memories

    Wow back when the Yamaha e300 modules didn't have the fabric covered speakers I bet the metal covers are so much better and easier to keep clean.

    This keyboard is still very decent to be used as MIDI sound module. Very reminiscent to MU50, MU80, and TG300 modules from the 90s

      Yep, I think almost any yamaha starting with PSR-E is an ideal beginner keyboard because they sound good enough to be realistic but they have fun features to keep learners entertained and interested :)@@jerryx2000

    I've had this piano for 11 years now! (Since I was 5 years old)
    The piano sounds so good with headphones and it has alot of functions to experiment with. What I miss though is that the keys have too little resistance making it much more difficult to play on acoustic pianos when you're used to it. And unfortunately I never had a sustain so to make it sound better, I usually change the reverb settings to hall3 and reverb level to 80 - 90. Besides that, I love it!

    • @gearfacts

      Yep, you've gotta stick with the instrument that makes you smile - that's how the good music happens :)

    Nice demo - Yamaha did a good job with their pianos in their PSR series. With touch sensitivity on, you can hear not just the volume change but the filter changing too, a brighter sound when keys are pressed harder. And I much prefer their phone-style keypad layout (123 on top row) versus the calculator keypad layout (789 on top row) used by some keyboard manufacturers. My finger muscle memory is easily confused!

    • @Lovelinusii8
      @Lovelinusii8 3 года назад +1

      Same. It’s more common that 123 are on top.
      That’s what I love with these budget yamaha/casio keyboards that touch sensitivity isn’t just volume change.
      Unlike those super lower end keyboards. I had those like 50$ keyboard and for me that was unplayable even “touch sensitive” because of its shitty sound.

      In that selection, I'd find it hard to resist the GEM, purely because it's a lot more exotic than a Yamaha! I have to be honest, I've never tried the WK8 though. The 333 has more sounds than the 323 if I remember correctly.
