      Waiting to see if he can improve his speed on court, he is a pretty slow player. Also his block return. Needs a better return. Serve and forehand are bombs!

    Ben Shelton has the talent and ability to be #1. He keeps getting better especially his top spin forehand. To be #1 you have a do all things good and one think great. Ben's greatness is in his serve !! If he stays healthy he can grab the ring.

      @@nemanjaspasic1242 Well, one never knows what the future holds, but, c'mon, how can you not feel the excitement (unless you just don't like him)? What a year it's turned out to be for him. And to think before the US Open I was seriously wondering if he just got lucky in a relatively easy draw at AO and wouldn't amount to anything.

      @@smurfette1509 for #1 that is not gonna happen maybe he will win some low level tournaments 250 and thats it he is chuby he does not have form to deal with oponents like alcaraz medvedev etc who can outlast him in longer rallies i wont put djokovic in this conversation cuz it would not be fair i will compare him with next gen he is inconsistent until us open he didnt won 2 match in a row for a year so its just a fake hype until he proves me wrong i guess we will see next year

    He isn't giving himself high hopes. Doesn't sound much of ambitious to win GS. His goal in 5 years is to be top 5 or 10. Thats low. His attitude is similar to Kyrgious to have fun on court and get a limelight. He needs to think big, have a champion mindset and then you follow that. Look at the mindset of Carlos, Sinner, Medvedev, Tsitsi, Zverev, rublev. They are top 10 players because they have that winning mindset even though some haven't won big but they are there because of their winning attitude. Really don't see him going that far other than may be get into top 10 if he is injury free.
