Great Cover friend. This band has been on my playlist since the early 90's. The High 'n Dry album is my favorite of them all. Just love those old school guitar vibes. Maybe I should cover this one next....
Oddly enough, I thought the song was simpler than what you were playing. I have more appreciation for it now. Unfortunately it is the last DL album I can listen to.
what type of Jackson is that and what amp effects did you use ect? :) Bloody spectacular cover dude love this song and you legit played it like the song 👍🌴💕
Nice work... being a HUGE Clark fan I'd like to ask if you do covers of his work that you try to play them the way Steve played them. I've yet to see someone actually tackle Steve's solo on this song in the clean tone as is on the record... that tone he gets is beautiful... but it is recorded on the record using a clean sound and not distorted. Love your channel. Thanks :)
ClarkOVision Thanks mate, I'm definitely a fan of Leppard but don't know as much about them as you. I only worked out the song from the cd and kept the left and right channels assigned to each player.
It sounded pretty close to the record which is cool. I just said what I said as I know that today's Leppard have altered some of the ways in which they play certain songs and therefore sometimes people do covers based on the current stuff they hear. For myself, being a fan of the old (Steve-era) Leppard I kind of like to hear Steve's parts being played his way.... but yeah, I liked your cover. If you do more I'll be sure to check them out. Cheers :)
I would love to see you do Def Leppard's White Lightning. I think the way you use amplitude so perfectly would be outstanding, especially on the very beginning of White Lightning which I have yet to see a guitar cover for anywhere.
LambChopper678 PLEAAASE do Battery. I would kill to see you cover that song. You did Shortest straw, Orion, and dyers eve, BUT NO BATTERY!?!?! Lol just kidding but do the cover man ;)
+IBT4Y For this video I used Amplitube Custom Shop, Roland FA-66 interface, Logic Pro X and the iMac. Other vids I use Positive Grid's Bias/Desktop but keeping it simple is best for me.
can i ask a quest as im still learn are you going through an interface to a DAW and what are you using are you editing the effect and changing the in the DAW or is there peddled? awesome cover one of my fav songs when i was a teenager. remember when this first came out.
All good questions mate, I am going through an interface and running Logic Pro x on the Mac. The tones came from Amplitube 3 amp simulator inside logic. Most DAW’s allow you to run 3rd party plugins like Amplitube and Bias FX etc. hope that helps mate
the jackson guitar has been modified ? you made the space for the humbucker and made it HH? change the pickguard? sorry bout my english, i have the jackson adrian smith guitar but mine its HSS
Katie Bradford Adobe Premiere CS6, I used to use Final Cut Pro X but premiere seems to be more stable though Final Cut had some better features with split screen projects
Do you have a BIAS FX Desktop preset for Love Bites, and maybe for the entire Hysteria album? I've grabbed your other presets for Justice from ToneCloud, so thanks for that. By the way, I bought BIAS FX Desktop Professional because of you - you should get an endorsement deal with Positive Grid.
UnlistedInvisibility lol, I have a classic 80's playlist on the main page with a few randoms in there. I love the classics, I'm listening to a little more melody these days I guess
LambChopper678 haha i see, i was just browsing through youtube trying to find some Alexander the Great cover since I want to see how the guitar solo runs, i was blown away when i saw your's. I'm not a huge metal fan, just a lil Maiden and Sabbath, but good to know!
What is that second chord?? That's been bugging me for years. Everyone else plays a Gm7 barre chord with an added 9, but that is a bastard to play and it just doesn't quite sound right.
The way LambChopper plays it has to be the right way and it sounds the best. It seems the most practical way to play it. I think the reason why you see some people try to play that chord using that ridiculously long stretching barre chord is because of a Def Leppard Hysteria tab book by Wolf Marshall back in the late 80s had the chord like that. I have that tab book and I just assumed Wolf Marshall was trying to over complicate some things. EDIT: I just watched several Def Leppard live performances of "Love Bites" and I managed to catch a couple of glimpses of that chord. While I couldn't see exactly how he fretted the chord, I can assure you that he DID NOT play that extremely stretched barre chord.
samuel ratcliffe If you have amplitube, I'd be happy to share presets I came up with. Other than that it's based on a JCM800 fairly central with a studio reverb and a little delay on top
No way man what are the chances! I just saw Def Leppard live about 2 hours ago, and then you upload this!
Beautiful! I would like to hear more def leppard
R.I.P Steve Clark. When the doctor says "Don't drink on this pain medication", don't drink!
was listening to this in the car on the way to work today. just too much awesome.
Holy shit! Your tone is amazing.
Joke?
I LOVE YOUR SHIRT. SO FREAKING MUCH
Great Cover friend.

Nice cover! Are you going to do some Slayer songs? e.g Angel of Death, War Ensemble?
what type of Jackson is that and what amp effects did you use ect? :) Bloody spectacular cover dude love this song and you legit played it like the song 👍🌴💕
Jackson is the Adrian Smith Signature with a humbucker i believe ...

Wow! Excelente!
LambChopper678 PLEAAASE do Battery. I would kill to see you cover that song. You did Shortest straw, Orion, and dyers eve, BUT NO BATTERY!?!?! Lol just kidding but do the cover man ;)
What effects pedals did you use sounds great?
Don't think that I am enjoying the timings in the editing as much as your playing!
Can you do Expendable Youth by Slayer?
Very nice!!
that lider guitar on point !! i love it
great playing!i just curious, what your gear setup?
+IBT4Y For this video I used Amplitube Custom Shop, Roland FA-66 interface, Logic Pro X and the iMac. Other vids I use Positive Grid's Bias/Desktop but keeping it simple is best for me.
fucking good.

@@LambChopper678 anyway you can export that setting to that effect I use that as well or show me the setup loved the tone
@@LambChopper678 so you just do it clean in logic that add effect where needed
the jackson guitar has been modified ? you made the space for the humbucker and made it HH? change the pickguard?
sorry bout my english, i have the jackson adrian smith guitar but mine its HSS
Hector Thunders I did route the body and make room for a HB.
@@LambChopper678 thanks for the response!

It’s been 7 years since this comment. Has your opinion changed any?
Bravissimo TOP.....
Amazing solo dude, congrats
Dope cover dude !!!
Well done, man. 😎🤘🏻
hey how are you making the charvel clean up during the arppegios are you just rolling down the volume or are you switching to a clean channel also?
metalblades4 I switched to the clean channel but also had to roll back the volume as the EMG's were pushing the signal a little too hard.
awesome tones !!
Do a cover of hysteria :)
Is there a version without the song playing in the background just the guitar solo?
Awsome you are so good man
Suuuper!!!!
Nice job
Kirk Hammett EMG pickguard in the charvel?
GunsnRosesfan2012 It's the stock pick guard, I just put some EMG 81's in it.
you did a very good job with the video
Killer bro!!
Nice job!
what effect pedal did you use?
good work sir
Van Halen t-shirt and Def Leppard songs :D
Awsome man :)
What is the model of your Jackson?
Алексей Балухтин It's a San Dimas SDX
Not bad but you should definitely adjust those volumes, the distortion is way too loud in contrast to the clean preset. Good work.
eargasmic ... thats all...
Nice cover.....
good!!
what do you use to edit your videos?
Katie Bradford Adobe Premiere CS6, I used to use Final Cut Pro X but premiere seems to be more stable though Final Cut had some better features with split screen projects
ah okay thanks
Wow man hahahha great!!
Ps anthony when are you going to another Q&A again.
Darren Diggle I don't know, I don't have much to talk about
great video btw.
❤️❤️❤️❤️👌👌🤟
🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸
very nice but such a shame it's lacking the lead guitar over "i know you think that love is the way you make it [...]". i love these bits the most
Australia's best guitarist by far
What about john butler?
Maiden Aust what about the young brothers (AC⚡️DC)?
Please can I have some settings amp Def leppard cool
samuel ratcliffe If you have amplitube software then email me so I can send you the presets I used. Lambchoppper678@me.com

Gods of war, please!!!!!!!
Tabs?
It's actually recorded in F Standard. Much easier to play.
VH !!!
Puta que pariu.......esse solinho do refrão......é muito foda!!!!
YES! Fucking Leppard! YES!
What is that second chord?? That's been bugging me for years. Everyone else plays a Gm7 barre chord with an added 9, but that is a bastard to play and it just doesn't quite sound right.
G on the 6th, open D string, G string 3rd fret

Very Nice But BWM5150 does it a lil better. But nice selection of guitars.. HIS..lol
They could really write some classic tunes, couldn't they...

Too much distortion, need a cleaner tone for this song. Still good though.

either you are trolling or you are deaf
Great cover!
Good Job Man!
