As much as it pains me to say this, Feyenoord did an amazing rebuild, selling Sinisterra, Malacia, Senesi and Aursnes for a lot of money, and with that money buying loads of players on the cheap thereby improving the squad massively. Most impressive to me is Hancko, their new left-sided centre back, who is an amazing find and an upgrade on Senesi for only 6 million euros.
i still think the julian alvarez deal is slightly underrated even though it’s not on the continent. he’s class and the fact that city snapped him up for 20 million while a bunch of sides need a striker is crazy.
Henry's trim can't go unnoticed btw... fantastic from the boy 🤝
Armand Lauriente has to be in the conversation as well. 7 goals and 6 assists for Sassuolo so far, in his first season in Serie A. Came from FC Lorient for less than 10M and has already estabilished himself to be one of Serie A's Top Dribblers alongside Leao and Kvaratskhelia

Christensen to Barcelona on a free has been absolutely the steal of the season no doubt
Fredrik Aursnes to Benfica has been an amazing signing
His signning is more underrated than Enzo's because many clubs wanted to sign Enzo but Aursnes kind of came out of the blue (for someone who doesn't watch the Eredivisie).
He average enzo way better
Nahuel Molina for Atletico Madrid is a shout! He’s been phenomenal this season and has proven himself to be a top class right wing back and maybe even the best in LaLiga behind Kounde.
Nobody talking about Fabio Silva with 20 G/A in all comps this year during his 2 loan spells with Anderlecht and PSV

Still don't think the Enzo Fernandez transfer to Chelsea is good for Benfica, or more accurately for football as a whole, football/the CL is all about great stories of smaller teams like Ajax a couple of years ago and now Benfica doing very well in the CL. Now they are 100M Euro richer, but the footballing success suffers as a consequence and we might have been robbed of the chance to see Benfica make an incredible run. Those stories are what football should be all about. Just another huge investor club ruining things.

The underhanded comment against liga when discussing Christensen is sad. Lisandro fell into Man U flawlessly and nobody would ever say it says anything about prem since a player like him wouldn’t be that good in Spain compared to at Man U and Ajax

@@victore3053 yeah I don’t think he’s much better than maguire to be fair, id even say at times maguires actually been better.
Sule is big and quick when he finally gets going but is slow to start and turn that’s about it, he’s average at best on the ball and is just sloppy
True. Anyone who watches bvb can say that he's definitely not our best CB. Hummels is still a better CB than Sule and Sule often makes lazy mistakes that have cost bvb a lot.
BvB should really sign another CB soon, a cheap but experienced player for the bench. Coulibaly is clearly not the answer😊
