Such a great and underrated TV series.
Walton Goggins is one of the greatest actors of our current time; and so terribly underrated. The Shield, Justified, and Fatman are just a few examples.

@@Patrick-it8nk I suffered through the first episode. Walter or not, I don’t know if this show is salvageable. I’m going to give the second episode a chance; however, I fear like Mr and Mrs Smith that Amazon has done another poor adaptation.

There is only one reason I'm giving the Fallout tv show a chance and its all Walton Goggins, clips like this prove why.
Without him the show wouldn’t have been a 9 out of 10, maybe an 8 or even a 7.5
the show was good.. Goggins made is great.
Fallout is okay it has some boring characters in it though the only highlight is the Walter Goggins character.

Picker is no longer addicted to cigarettes.
This was peak Boyd to me. Went into a meeting knowing that he'd be underestimated and he had to show better than he could say why this wasn't a good idea. Picker showed this albeit on the wrong end.
Man dying by way of bomb in a pack of smokes is one of the most ironic deaths EVER. He made it clear he wouldn't beg for his life, he didn't. Sadly for Boyd if I remember the rest of this season properly, not much else really went his way. Especially as it pertains to his exit strategy from the game entirely, which sadly ended when Ava got popped for moving that body.
He did an awesome job with the character

I like how he squeezes the pack of cigarettes (at 1:48) dimpling in the side of the pack, and there is almost an audible click, just before he tosses it over the intended victim. Doctor G.W.

I really liked this series except for one thing. I grew up in Appalachia and the California outdoor setting of the series just didn't cut it for me.
Yeah, definitely laughed at the mountains in the background when they were in Versailles. They should have filmed this in Kentucky.
Sons of Anarchy had the same problem--set in Northern California and clearly shot in Southern.
Funny, cause I'm from SoCal, and had the same problem in reverse. Scrub oak and Manzanita jump out like a sore thumb.

So the cigarette bomb has a deadly range of two feet? If it was just the pressure wave maybe but that dudes body looked like it was hit with shrapnel. What was saving Boyd from dying to the same bomb? Even shrapnel from the guy’s finger bones could have killed him.

Plastic explosives, like Semtex and C-4 can be molded in such a way that the detonation can be specifically directed. Throw in a skilled demolitions expert, and you have a deadly combination.

Doesn't really have to be set in the geographical West to be a Western. Quigley Down Under is set in Australia, so is The Proposition. The classic Eastwood Leone westerns were mostly filmed in Spain, and take place in kind of a dreamy Wild West amalgamation world that pulls from real West names/events but very loosely in a way that doesn't resemble reality. Cowboy Bebop is an anime that takes place mostly in space. Etc etc

No, Mary McDonnell was The BSG president. This is Mary Steenburgen. The mother in Step Brothers and and some of the best 80s and 90s comedies. She was also Buddy's Stepmother in Elf.
