I love that film. It's great in medium format for people and cars
I recently gave it a try on my old M2, and I absolutely loved the results! In fact, I just put a 100’ roll into my bulk loader this afternoon, so that might give you an idea how much I think of it! Definitely worth a try if one hasn’t already tried it! 🙂
Awesome video, Hashem! I've never tried superpan 200, but I am keen to now!
Love the snowy Japan shots!! 😍😍
Thanks man! It was a great day to be out shooting 😄 Rural Japan is beautiful
Ooh and I also really love the shot where you can see yourself in the street mirror!
I enjoyed the vibe of the video, Hashem 👍 Especially the Japanese vocal track 🌸
Thanks man!
Great video! Rollei Superpan is my favorite B&W film I've tried! It just has the perfect amount of contrast for me and a pretty versatile speed of 200 iso
I have a bulk roll of it in my fridge I will crack open this winter along with Rollei Retro 400S ;)
Perfect!
Love the 200 superpan and rpx400. My favourites
You got me curious about this film, love the contrast and sharpness!
That’s a nice film stock! Never hear people talking about this one.
Nice contrast, definitely willing to try Rollei 200, currently a fan of the Rollei Retro 80s, love the sharpness of both films.
Liked the look of the film very much. If it will be available here in Finland, I will certainly give it a go.
Thank you for doing this video, it’s great to see these attractive film stocks being reviewed, ordered in 35mm and 120!👍🏻
Thanks for watching! Hope you enjoy the film too 🙂
Sweet! Was looking forward to seeing your Japan photos 👍
More to come!
Nice video, love the look of the shots from the JCH film I tried once so might have to try this out also. Thanks 🙏🏻
Great review Hashem! Your shots are a great representation of the area. Question for you: what strap are you using? I have been thinking of getting a short neck strap like that as it seems to be easier and quicker to bring the camera up to your eye for quick snapshots. Thanks!
Thanks! Yeah that's why I like it. I used a measuring tape to decide on the length I wanted and ordered it from Tap & Dye
Fun little video. Weird setting for being in Japan, looks like a sleepy suburb in sweden Wintertime lol. How come you choose that location to go :)? Just curious looks very deserted .
The film looks nice, suits the day you were there it seems very well :) Some nice shots there with the mountains in the background and the rundown buildings in the foreground.
/regards Martin.
Haha, partially for the reasons you mentioned! Many others though... such as access to snowboarding, how cool this particular Airbnb/homestay was, and other reasons. Glad you liked them!
Great images man ! And yo...that camera strap is sweet !!!!
Thank you!
really nice shots, the film looks good
Thanks a lot!
Try a dark red or infrared filter. you will get beautiful infrared photos.
I’ve shot it with an IR filter to get some great infrared shots.
Yeah it's meant to be good for this, or reversal processing!
great film and video... my pet hate is when people say they push ISO. I hate that term for film
Good video. On an unrelated note, I think it’s interesting you’re from AUS and you’re walking around with your jacket open 😂
Wonderful video!! And absolutely stunning shots - so print worthy! I also loved the footage from the R6, so cinematic! The film community is so lucky to have you producing such informative and engaging reviews/videos. Proud of you, love ♥️
My number 1 fan ❤️😁
Hi Hashem, just on my way now to pick up some Superpan based on this review.
It mentions you developed with HC110 (E). I can’t find this combo in Massive Dev. would you be able to share your development time? Thank you 🙏
Glad to hear it! I did 9 minutes for these rolls 🙂
Crispy Images!!!
do you use a light meter with M-A?
Usually not, but I'll often have one available.
Superpan 200 and JCH 400 are both the same films, its actually and ISO125 Agfa film
As I thought!
@@pushingfilm easiest way to find out who a manufacturer of a film stock is, check out the color change of your developer. Yellow is Agfa, Blue/Green is Foma, Black/Grey Kodak and colorless mostly is Harman in the UK :)
A complete irrelevant question,
what is that japanese song?
