@@jijitsudayon well said a lot of people who speak about sustainable fashion don't understand that some people are on the poverty line and can't afford £30 + for a tee shirt. I've had primark basic Tees that I purchased 5 years ago and they are still going strong and have picked up ethical sustainable tees that fell apart. I think its more about buying less and being mindful of what you need

I’m not slamming her as a RUclipsr and I obviously enjoy her videos but not being able to afford to shop ethically definitely is not a valid point in Jordan’s case
You could try out the brand nu-in, it is not as cheap as Primark but about in the same price range as Zara maybe and they produce very ethically (I’m not saying everyone will be able to afford their stuff, but it is much cheaper than most sustainable brands)
not all sustainable brands are expensive. you can shop sustainably by going to a charity/thrift shop or by ordering from depop.

Hi lipscombe I love your content, but I wanted to inform you (just incase you didn't know) that fast fashion stores like primark, forever 21,next, newlook and and online stores like shein are using slave labour and child labour so they can make so much clothes at low cost price and also buy criminally underpaying their employees (they also harass and abuse their employees) and with this they are one of the leading contributors to green house gases and climate change and they lie and say they are environmentally friendly and recyclable but they are not in reality. So please anyone who is reading this plz actually look into your stores that you are buying from and try to buy from thrift and second hand stores more as they are wayyyyyy more environmentally friendly and also just as cheap.
I worked at Primark for 1 1/2 years and they DO NOT under pay their staff, we actually got paid a very good and competitive hourly pay. We also were never abused physically, mentally, or emotionally and any problem you had was dealt with immediately and effectively by our line managers regardless of if the complaint was aimed at the store manager or just another college. They also have more ethical ranges and have clothes banks in some stores for people to throw away their clothes for them to be re used for the less fortunate. We were also given all the over time we wanted and whether you were 16 or 65 you were treated respectfully by those in authority. Whilst I 100% support shopping in charity shops and thrifting clothes (I do it!!) know your stores before commenting !!
@@xmxbxbxm5372 not you, they pay their staff that work at the factories that produce the actual clothes that primark stores sell poorly, they dont come from nowhere you know. Next time plz read my comment properly before commenting I dont want any misunderstandings. And plz do some research one fast fashion it will do you well if you know the truth. Ps I know they pay there employees pretty amazingly and I know they treat there staff well. I shopped there for years because I loved there clothes and how affordable they were, but stopped when I did some research into them and other fast fashion stores and found out how poorly them and other stores treated and underpaid there FACTORY WORKERS. btw If this sounded rude at all in any way shape or form please accept my deepest apology as all I wanted to do was spread awareness and not offend anyone. I bought a whole load of those ribbed bra and pants sets from my store last week. They had Blue red and yellow in my store!!
