The Lowell Grand Banks dory is a kit available from Model Expo. It is a skill level 1 kit for people new to wooden model building. In addition, they run an occasional special where if you build it and sent them a picture of yourself with your finished model, they will give you full store credit for your purchase (I don't think shipping is included). It is well worth trying out if you are considering getting into wooden model building.

That's the beauty of wood kits. If something doesn't fit, you adjust it to fit. Wood is very easy to work with.

Hope you enjoy it! It is a good kit and will come out well. Just remember that if something doesn't fit right, sand it a little bit at a time and it ill. Good luck!
