@@savcashh6848 Yes I watched the fight, pretty sure Mayer out-landed jonas in 7 of the 10 rounds. I wanted jonas to win but she looked out paced in the 2nd half of the fight too, Mayer was pressing hard then. Hopefully they do a rematch!

I had Mayer winning, just like I did against Peds Baumgardner, but it was her fellow American, Frank Lombardi, who cost her! Lombardi 96-94, Brit Alexander 96-95 both for Jonas & the neutral German 97-93 Mayer. Did Lombardi get an envelope?? 😲

Compubox is clear Mayer score more punishment and won 7-3 rounds and if you look both faces after the fight is more clear the winner
Whatched it live, and i thought Jonas started well, but Mayer brought it back from the middle rounds onward. Mayer should've won or a draw would've been fair

You wont get an honest response from a Sky / Boxxer presenter. Mayer won plain and simple. Just look at the boxes faces at the end of the fight. An immediate rematch should be ordered. Nothing to do with emotion Johnny.

It wasn’t a robbery but the fact that they have had to release this back tracking BS shows how bent Sky and Boxer are IMHO.

Agree. All 3 TalkSport commentators gace it to Mayer at the end of the fight, and their faces showed they did not agree with the result. Then, like Sky started to backtrack narrative, trying to justify the rresult😢

Absolute disgrace. We all see what's happening here. Sky covering for yet another bad showing, hence this damage control video. Just for the record too, Mayer didnt come on strong towards the end of the fight, round 3 onwards she was much the busier fighter, forcing the fight. Natasha was constantly holding!!! You talk utter nonsense Nelson

Not a fan of either fighter but mayer won by 3-4 rounds but sky are in desperate measures right now and need to protect there champions at all cost.
Jonas lost by a MILE! She got battered. Get some independent judges to rescore the fight and it will be a different outcome. Jonas lost clearly ! Just goes to show how corrupt boxing is nowadays
Johnny is underestimating the boxing viewers. Most of us score a fight as we're going along, and not just making a stab at a score at the end of the fight.

This video alone shows jonas did not win the fight.
It could well be that Michael Alexander (Eng) and Frank Lombardi (US) saw the fight very much the same way (perhaps even Alexander gave a 10-10 round where Lombardi gave it 10-9 to Jonas).
The only thing is that they both seem to have been watching a different fight to that in front of them.

It was a terrible fix
Mayer won by a mile. I knew watching it live that Mayer would get robbed of the decision. You could sense it. Even in the commentary. Mayer would land 6 or 7 shots and Jonas would land one, and they would say great shot by Jonas. Clean, precise etc... that happened in every rd. So I knew they were talking it up to make the decision at the end not look so bad. They same way Nelson is doing now. Now dont get me wrong Jonas landed some nice clean shots all through the fight. But they were mostly one punch shots with power. That left her open for counter punches, to which Mayer landed 2 or 3 to Jonas' 1. Mayer was on the front foot from start to finsh, landed more punches and totally dominated that fight. So it is 100% a complete robbery. P.s I am english so this is not a baised statement, its a boxing one.
