I bladed in the street of NYC before I moved. Taxi drivers will do their Damnedest to hit/injure a skater then blame the skater for improper lane changes... Thats how I used to get around in the city as a courier and when I went to school in brooklyn
All congestion pricing does is give more room for richer people in New York to move around. Because obviously poor people are going to pay the congestion pricing far less so really you're just skewing the demographic of the people who are using the New York city streets to privileged fuqs.

After seeing your videos and going ice skating a few weeks ago, I picked up a pair of CCM Vectors for next to nothing (skated hockey skates a bit when I was younger) and holy endurance Batman! Where did my stamina go??? Gotta clean bearings and replace wheels to lose as much friction as possible. Tempish vibers are looking solid though

Ironically the only times I've ever been hit by a car while riding my bike was when I was riding in the "Bike Lane" instead of in the street. I like to watch people losing their minds who think they are 'Stuck behind me' change lanes to try to pass me, then realize they have to break the speed limit to actually pass me lol

Sydney is amazing. I go skating most weekends around George Street, Crown Casino, Chinatown, darling harbour and opera house. Also warm weather and You don’t get into Trouble skating on the footpaths.

(i.e. wheels,boots, etc.) I would like to get a set so that I can blade from my apartment to the VA hospital here in Temple, TX. gives me some flexibility and exercise which is most important.
I really want to explore NYC on my skates sometime, looks so fun to cruise around. I'm from the UK so it would probably be safer for me to do a group skate first to get used to traffic driving on the other side 😅
i love ur content. my only suggestion would be instead of throwing some random music in the background, add some true roller blading music, whether it be roller disco, rollerblade game music, anything else, would help the vibe of the video a lot more in my opinion

Im learning how to skate, but Im awful doing turns and breaks... I just love watching videos like urs speeding in rollerblades, but Im very afraid of falling (and I couldn't afford protection for elbows and knees)... I already scratched my knees 2 or 3 times.... And I wanna ask u, did u broke any bone to get on this level?

Another amazing video. 1. How does your hat stay on, when youre riding so fast on such a windy day? On my bicycle and escooter I have to hold on to my hat or turn it around. 2. Is this type of rollerblading (on the street with cars) allowed by traffic cops in any other city? I wasn't aware this was even allowed in NYC, until I discovered your channel. 3. Have you ever worn protective gear (pads, helmet etc.) While doing this on the streets with cars? I'm wondering if early on you were wearing protective gears and parted ways with them once you got more comfortable. Or whether you were just born a daredevil 😮 of course someone doing the same thing even while wearing protective gears is still a daredevil 😂

I used to skate in and out of people at the skating rink as a kid... this is much more dangerous version of that.
People are way more unpredictable than cars, that's for sure

He uses rollerblades, also called inline skates. They're just two names for the same thing so you don't have to worry about getting one or the other 👍

There are a lot of brands. I got into skating recently and currently using K2 Trio 100 on trails, big parks and light streets skating.

I wear protective gear. I should wear a helmet more often, I just want to keep my head warm so in the winter I don't wear a helmet as often
