Ariana is always in the studio, she says music is therapeutic to her. I don’t believe she will get burned out. Instead of making music, she’s shifting to writing and producing for other artists. For example, Motivation by Normani, Ice Cream by BlackPink, and the Charlie’s Angels Soundtrack. She’s working on her 6th studio album, but it’s been said that she’s going into the R&B route which her voice fits.

I've realized Grammys target someone who's either new or extremely overrated for a while .. basically someone who debuts and spread all across in nights. When Billie released the album "WWAFAWDWG" She basically blew herself up meaning for a while she was everywhere and she was kinda new so she won grammys. Now the same with Olivia Rodrigo she became really overrated and she won awards.

Ariana has said on many occasions that the studio is her happy place. Even when she finishes a record and people on her team say take a break, she still wants to go in the studio to write and create music. This is probably why she releases so many albums because she is constantly at the studio.

ThizzzAnubis With how successful albums like Future Nostalgia, After Hours and Chromatica are performing, I’d hardly say that pop music is dying. All genres rise and fall in popularity. Early 2000s were hip hop/R&B, mid 2000s were rock, late 2000s were dance pop, early 2010s were electro pop, mid 2010s were EDM and late 2010s were hip hop/R&B more so on the trap side of things.
Based on a lot of recent songs, I have a feeling that we’re gonna continue seeing disco pop for a little while longer followed by a short burst of rock resurgence and then back to pop.
But to get to your point, Ariana’s always tried infusing R&B sounds into her music since Yours Truly. So there’s no doubt that those influences will be there, but it’s a matter of what the main genre she’ll go with that remains more of a mystery.
Yours Truly was bubblegum pop, My Everything was hip hop, Dangerous Woman was more so pure pop, Sweetener was experimental pop and Thank U, Next was mainly trap influenced. I’m gonna guess that her next album is going to be much happier with some alternative and R&B influences on the non-single tracks.

Honestly From the beginning of Ari’s career she’s said that all she wanted to do was sing and music is her art of how she expresses herself and it’s always been her passion so I don’t think she’ll burn out but she’ll definitely take personal time for herself to get inspired again for each record she puts out and as a fan from what I see and know Ari’s gonna be around for awhile cause the girl can sing, act, and perform A STAR !!!!

Ariana has said as of recently, that she treats music as therapy at this point. Compared to earlier times or other artists, she doesn't get the traditional "burned out" when making music. She's talked about how now she's reached a point where all she wants to do is sing, and she honestly doesn't really care about the reviews, the listen parties for her label, etc.

Responding to what you asked about Ariana taking care of herself... I believe she really saturated herself in 2019 between an album release with 2 singles, a world tour, 3 more singles (rule the world, boyfriend & monopoly), headlined Coachella and lollapalooza, a world tour, a live album AND the production of a soundtrack.
In 2020 she released 2 singles as of now (August) which both debuted at #1 but besides that, she’s been making music and taking time for herself, i think she’ll need it cause everyone is keeping an eye and waiting for her to be back, and it’ll be huuge, her way of healing is music so it’s kind of killing 2 birds with 1 stone, she gets to have time for healing and at the same time release music that will get her success.
I think she’s in a great place and I can’t wait for her to be back😍 (also sorry for making it too long😂)

In regards to the burnout question, Ariana herself said she adores the song creation process and that it doesn't feel like work, and she's been creating and recording in her home studio ever since she got her gear during the lockdown. I think her love of music creation will definitely help her not burn out. However I believe putting out projects without a period of just resting (without any collabs) is going to overexpose her and the general public *could* get tired of her.

ariana was on a completely tight schedule (especially at the beginning of her music career) during the end of yours truly and start of my everything. she has spoken out that she did so many promotions and interviews in 2013/2014 that she was completely exhausted and it wasn’t good for her mental health. that’s one of the reasons why you don’t see her doing as many in person interviews or morning shows in the past 2 years as she did in 2013/2014. as for her schedule...
yours truly (released in august 2013)
listening sessions tour (aug.- sep. in 2013)
    -less than a year break
my everything (released in august 2014)
honeymoon tour (feb. - oct. of 2015)
    focus (released in oct 2015)
    dangerous woman (released may 2016)
dangerous woman tour (feb. - sep. 2017)
    sweetener (released august 2018)
sweetener sessions (aug. - sep. 2018)
    thank u next (released 2019)
    sweetener/thank u next tour (march-dec. 2019)
-(that’s where i’m gonna end it cause it’s august of 2020 and we’ve gotten “time” (w childish gambino), “stuck with u” (w justin), and “rain on me” (w lady gaga)-
so as a quick overlook, she releases an album one year... tours the next... takes a short break until releasing a new album. ariana loves creating music and it’s literally her life... and she’s spoken about scheduling and how she’s going to be releasing things the way she wants to now and how it’s going to be up to how she’s feeling and not up to what others think. and she’s said that she’s gonna be making music even when she’s like 90😂😂

And of course the voice is amazing and the songs now are very pop and catchy, and we don't have many songs like that these days. I remember she released dangerous woman tracks day by day (I think?) on apple music, WHEN MUSICIALLY LEAKED DANGEROUS WOMAN, she changed twitter her bio a bit after the release of focus, the "soon" rule, her keek videos, her "lavender envelopes" meme, viva glam collab, perfume, her mimu gloves unboxing, her ipsy collab, her apology video because of the donut video, the donut incident, her teasing "my way" "sober" "got her own", her house tour, when grandpa grande died (rip), her first tattoo, when she got her new dog on tour (i forget his name), the instgram page for ophilia and the other dog, her halloween costume that everone posted in 2013 (bloody vampire), her cat ear phase, her bangs, monopolu, one love manchester, when she released one last tme music video, her vines, her bot kik account to promote ari by ariana grande), her bow era which every youtuber made videos on (bethany mota lol), her make up tutorial, her snap stories with mac, her engagement w pete, and much much more
i love her and she's always going to be part of my life.. I grew up with her and it's rewarding to see how mainstream she is now because I thought her biggest era was my everything, awkward moonlight/focus phase, dangerous woman, sweetener, and thank u, next, but she's just growing.. it's crazy! I would always read her bio's on instagram and now she's over 200 million! I always thought I was a super fan but damn there's so many of uss now! she feels like a friend to me lolol,
I am so proud of ari and I hope when she's an oold lady she can look at her accomplishments and remember everything she does/did inspired so many young women, gays, and men. geeeshh!

She says that the time to herself is used to make more music. And it’s healing to her to create music. She doesn’t see the actual writing and creating process as tiring, but she did say she hated having to promote her first three albums, as it was tiring and took a toll on her. Her mission statement of sorts is all she’s ever wanted to do was sing and not promotion

well, ariana is doing really good right now, she said that thank u , next was such a healing proccess for her, and yes, she is doing more music. im so happy for her tbh, she has been through so much yk, her parents got divorced when she was 8, she lost her grandpa who was her everything, everything that happened with mac miller, the manchester attack and then pete davidson. this all left her with depression, anxiety and ptsd. im so proud of her, i see her so happy

People don't realize how impacted these albums were and how much it showed about her. Sweetner was her saying she was fine but faked it just to show people how to handle sadness. Thank you, next (in my opinion) was better because it showed people how to truly handle sadness, by being sad.
Fake smile is a great example of how she faked her happiness just to show people how "happy" she was. Now she has Thank you, next which shows the damage events had on her and now Positions shows that she is truly better now and accepts her past but still is happy.

Ariana is doing something she loves. She said after the tour that she was going to take a break. However, recently she has been teasing new music. She has also said before that •she would take a break, but she doesn’t know what she would do if she wasn’t doing something,” or something along the lines of that. It is rumored in the fandom that she has an album coming at the end of the year. Personally, I think her break could have been a little bit longer but, if she wants to release music, she can release music.

I think Ariana is basically taking a break now, she’s only released 2 songs this year and both were spaced out (both reaching number1 on billboard)

Well, the question you asked is not easily answered. Yes, Ariana is taking care of herself. But she's stated multiple times that she's a workaholic and making music is her therapy, so... Idk. I feel like her current team seems very much like family, so I trust everyone's looking out for her health and state of mind.

I wouldn’t say pure pop is over. Ava Max is still seeing relative success in the pure pop field and Katy Perry’s songs like Never Really Over and Smile received a lot of acclaim for their quality and sound! And despite not performing well on the charts, Carly Rae Jepsen’s last two albums (Emotion and Dedicated) are so highly acclaimed with the former also making many lists for the best songs of the DECADE! Plus, Lady Gaga and Dua Lipa’s recent albums draw a lot of pure pop influences with dance and disco music adding to the mix.
I just think that the industry is slowly gravitating back towards that pure pop sound and will get there within a few more years 😊

    • @westworlds
      @westworlds 4 года назад +5

If we are being honest, the only artist doing pure pop that is getting both critical AND chart success is Dua Lipa. No one else is doing as well as her in that arena. If pure pop does come back its probably gonna be due to her. She and the weeknd have brought back the 80's, so I guess it is possible.

@@lucifertoyou Ummm Disco is like a subgenre of pop friend. It still counts in my opinon. That's even more of a risk. Besides her highly successful debut album was pure pop.

@@lucifertoyou It was a risk. Dua was quite literally the first person to put herself out there and do disco. Disco was widely considered to be a dead genre. Everyone else followed after Don't Start Now by Dua proved to be a hit.

Pop dissected , i am following Ariana since the dangerous woman era . From her posts , we all Arianators know , that she loves music than anything in her life , She keeps surprising us with what she’s doing , if she’s taking a break , through her twitter account and her instagram handle . From all that , i can say she would not get exhausted from music at all , she is even preparing for her next album and many many collaborations💕

As a big fan of Ariana's I believe that she focuses on her mental health a lot. At first going back touring, on the sweetener world tour was very emotional for her. She had some low points behind the scenes, once us fans started to notice that we told her to not worry about us, and that she should focus on her mental health. So she cancelled meet n greet, and after that I could tell she was doing great mentally.

ariana always says that making music n being in the studio is therapeutic to her n that she writes song to sorta understand her own feelings, like with breathin, an amazing song about her anxiety n healing which she sat down n wrote right after a panic attack. her songwriting is very in the moment n not working off of a distant memory or manufactured in any way, which is why i don’t see her running out of songs to write or music to make anytime soon.
