Agreed, you and Matt are the A team. Thanks for the great content, I always learn something from you... Thanks for continuing to get after it, I imagine it can be hard to do so having done HUSH for so long now. You effort and passion shows.
Eric another great animal taken by a great hunter. Mat great work on getting the shot on film. You guys are a great time. Can not wait for the rest of BSY 4 and all of the other videos that you have coming out. #HushLife
Amazing content. Just started following you guys in the last 3 months. Puts a fire in me to be a better hunter, and dedicate more time to being outdoors. Keep up the excellent work gentlemen.
Thanks for showing some of the quartering and skinning. That is such a critical part of the hunt and normally don't get to see on here. Thanks. Enjoy your content. Good group all around.
Awesome hunt and great video. Thanks! Also thanks for breaking down the deer in the field for us. Definitely learned a thing or two! Gets a guy excited to start planning and preparing for next fall! Thanks again!!!!
Beautiful color on the antlers. Great shot Eric. You and Matt make a great team. Hope you all share your jerky recipe as well. I’m always on the search for the best jerky recipe. Thanks for taking us along. Love how the BSY 4.0 is still going strong. Keep up the hard work guys. Year by year it just keeps on getting better. Take care, see ya :)
Great Sunday morning start. Hush video, cup of coffee. Nothing like a successful pack out…in the daylight. Thanks for taking us along 👍 Ignite is my go to also.
This a great video and an awesome example and explanation of how much work goes into actually hunting/harvesting big game or any animal. Great job and awesome shot!
@@gethushin I agree for sure!! Just can't get enough of it it's what I dream about just getting out in the Alberta wilderness chasing deer elk bear nd moose, nd the meat is one heck of a bonus!
Congratulations Eric that’s a great buck! Love it when you guys show how to process the animal it’s one of my favorite parts of your videos! Awesome video!
Way to go Eric that was an great shot on that buck congrats!! That was some beautiful country you guys were hunting in , love how you showed how to do the gutless method great job congrats again on your buck !!
And EC, you’ve done it again!! I’m watching this as you guys are at Hunt Expo and wishing I was there! At least I get to watch another incredibly adventure and a super helpful way to quarter out and fill the packs! Now, we wait to see the Mexico trip 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼 Hopefully y’all make it back out here to Portland for the Sportsman Show!
Thanks for the tutorial! I hunt solo and am far from proficient. I've butchered two elk solo and both looked like a war zone when I was done. It's hard to practice when you don't draw tags!!
Great buck and love that antler color! As a local Colorado Deer/Elk hunter myself its cool to see you guys here in my home state having success. As and advocate against the wolf reintroduction here in colorado obviously because they've come here naturally just curious did you guys mention to the local CPW that you seen a wolf and have video footage of it? I know there has been numerous potential sightings and they have eyes and now have 2 collared wolves here but it would be cool to let them know you guys seen one or potentially one they may not have known about. I don't know what part of the state you're in for sure can make an educated guess based off the burn area but not 100% certain. Thanks for what you guys do! Great VIDEO!!!!
Only negative on the gutless method appears to be no heart and liver which is the second best meat of course the backstrap is the premium cut but awesome buck and video😎
Wow, not supposed to be wolf's in Colorado yet, but that was definitely a wolf. I shot a burn area buck, but strangly his antlers were the whites I have ever seen on a live deer.
@@gethushin Were you close to the Wyoming border? Lots of people down in southern Colorado say they have been here for years, but no video that I have seen.
I’m a novice when it comes to hunting, what do you do with the remaining carcass? Thanks for your vids; they are educational and exciting. Thanks again!
Hey Eric, please let Colorado parks and wildlife know that you spotted a wolf and let them know where you were hunting. They haven't officially released them yet, and they need to know about all the wolves that are here from natural migration.
During the good old days we would actually hunt him and get as close as possible. But the new fancy guns changed that. Changed hunting to actually just shooting now.
I’ve never heard you guys say anything about taking the heart and liver doing the gutless method? Do you normally leave them behind or take them as well?
He started his own channel, he always had his own just decided to branch off and attempt to do his own thing! He's worth following he does put up some quality content for sure!
Hey great hunt. I live in Northwest Colorado i am very interested in the wolf. Please dm me so that i can put out trail cams in hopes of stopping more being released upon us.

Great hunt! Tagging out on a nice buck, meat for the freezer, good company and scenery! Can't get much better than that! Well done 👍

That bucks antlers where so unique with that black! Cool hunt! Crazy seeing that wolf!
It was good to see you at the Expo to be able to talk to you and get a picture with you. The stories and taxidermy were awesome.

Great job guys good friends make it easy.
Definitely!
Nicely done!! Great buck! Late season hunts are good times!! Too bad you couldn’t get a chance to take down that wolf as well!
I would love to see a breakdown on how those backpacks work and how to properly use them.
Money shot, impressive! As always, great roll.

Yes, we had many many conversations with fish and game and also filled out the wolf sighting report with details 👊🏻
@@gethushin Thank you for doing that much appreciated!!!
You always make it happens Eric god job bro
Great shot and great buck! You did better than me.
Nice shootin’, Tex!
Hell yeah 😎 nice buck nothing wrong with that what great time
I wonder if that antler color is due to feeding in that burn. Super interesting.
Like I say every week, awesome video!
No wolves in CO - probably should add some more (in Boulder...)
Congrats Eric nice buck
Only negative on the gutless method appears to be no heart and liver which is the second best meat of course the backstrap is the premium cut but awesome buck and video😎

The scraps are left behind for Mother Nature to absorb
What first lite do you like to wear in the colder hunts from pants to jackets ??? Hoping for a late season hunt this year want to be prepared
Puffy and top and bottoms are a must.
Especially when you’re hunting like this going for hours and then stopping for hours.
@@gethushin I have the thinner puffer from firslite you think the big thicker one??
Awesome video💪🏽 I am jealous😁👌🏼👍🏻
Thanks!
Y’all really need to release those orange flannels !
Where does a guy buy that flannel? Awesome video!
Hey Eric, please let Colorado parks and wildlife know that you spotted a wolf and let them know where you were hunting. They haven't officially released them yet, and they need to know about all the wolves that are here from natural migration.
I filled out the entire wolf sighting report 👊🏻
@@gethushin Awesome! Thank you.
Great video!
Thank you!
Nice encounter with another predator. Great shot (especially at 500 yards), quick death. What caliber?
Hell of a shot. Makes me wanna practice more lol
That was awesome!!
During the good old days we would actually hunt him and get as close as possible. But the new fancy guns changed that. Changed hunting to actually just shooting now.
That’s awesome. What’s the closest shot you got? Mine is 6 yards with a bow 🏹 👊🏻
Where were you at the expo On Saturday I waited for 2 hours to see you
If I wasn’t at the booth I was at lunch. That was a busy busy day
Hey I’m picking up one of your weatherby vanguard 7mm. What scope would you recommend?
We have a variety of the vortex razor and viper models. Love them all, just have to make sure they’re dialed in correctly.
do you take the heart to? one of the best parts.
Fuck yah Eric!! Perfect shot and a killer buck especially in that type of country!! Like the demo too!! Keep grinding!!
Thanks man 👊🏻such a fun hunt!
I’ve never heard you guys say anything about taking the heart and liver doing the gutless method? Do you normally leave them behind or take them as well?
That would make a nice cape
Worse part of the video was seeing that big coyote. Congratulations on your buck. Fantastic shot.
Do you guys ever eat the heart?
Most the time, makes great tacos 🌮
Noce shoy! What caliber were you shooting
My .300 WBY mag
That’s a Colorado wolf right? Funny how Colorado doesn’t have all the Wolf-Dog hybrids that Utah has! Lol
Smoked em💥🙌.
JO JO IN VT 💕😄☃
are your game bags re-useable?
Yes
@@gethushin I bought some elk bags during the NM elk hunt giveaway so pretty excited to try them out this year!
What size yeti was that?
And Matt!
What Pack is that you are using there?
I still got my back strap from my buck this year what recipe should I use?
Best enjoy the hunting now in colorado, soon they will have more wolves! Also already killing cattle up in the mountains!
HOW MANY YARDS
Wasting all the gud meat there bro tak the whole body wit ya!!!!
I wonder why RUclips hasn't touched this channel yet? They have been screwing over a bunch of other ones.
Whatever happened to martin? I'm actually glad he's not on the channel anymore was just kinda curious. I was a little sceptical of him.
He started his own channel, he always had his own just decided to branch off and attempt to do his own thing! He's worth following he does put up some quality content for sure!
Enjoy the rarity of a wolf sighting in CO, as it won’t last long.
How’d you guys see a wolf in Colorado?! That’s insanely rare - did you report that to CPW? They’ve only been spotted in the NW part of the state
Mantap2 sir prom Indonesia sir
☹️ respect what you have done, even if it's the millionth time you've done it. I'm disappointed in this video because of the complete disrespect.
Confused 🤷🏻♂️
Wow that was a nice shot. But you shot him in his bed not cool. In my opinion. Lost a little bit of respect for you Eric!
What the? Why?
What's wrong with that? I'd love to hear why you don't think that's okay.
What would be wrong with making a very ethical clean kill?
Hey great hunt. I live in Northwest Colorado i am very interested in the wolf. Please dm me so that i can put out trail cams in hopes of stopping more being released upon us.
