You'are explanation is awesome. Having the second child move around the surface of the first is something that is totally intuitive to understand! Thanks a lot!

      I couldn't agree more!!
Sometimes algorithmically expressing a shape is just easier. (Of course, not always... But when it is, OpenScad is suprisingly easy.)

@@JohnsBasement I'm an engineer. Coding to make physical objects sort of feels like cheating. But, I'll take the win. Thanks for the video.

Hi, excellent explanation of these two useful functions. Just one observation... the default parameter for `sphere` is the radius, not the diameter.

Anyone ever tell you you sound just like that dude who plays Lemony Snicket in the new Netflix Series of Unfortunate Events

@@JohnsBasement Hi John, I just discovered your channel trying to learn more about openscad hull and Minkowski to do fillet... Great video! I so happened to listen to half video with audio muted and when I turned audio on I was very pleased with your voice heh. I don't have a clue who Lemony Snicket (I don't watch Netflix) but I look forward to listening to more of your videos :-) Seriously, your delivery is superb. No hesitation, no annoying ehh or repeating the same word, perfect smooth tempo... Congrats!
