1969 Triumph TR6 Pre-purchase inspection Jason Phillips Dec 2023

This is a very solid and authentic 1969 TR6. The former owner who has passed on was a full-time Jaguar mechanic. Owned since 2008, he had conducted continuous service on this fun driver that he took on tours everywhere. He treated it as his weekend driver and drove it everywhere. It’s a well-sorted car with a clean under structure and equipped with optional overdrive (currently the switch appears to be bad) so it is currently inop. However, everything else is in good working order. While not perfect, it has received a good-looking repaint, less a few contaminations and re-assembly nicks/scratches. The trim and lenses are still bright, the interior had been refreshed just before he bought the 6 over 15 years ago. ‪@AutoAppraise‬

You should be measuring on the fender tops and rear apron. Need to measure rust prone areas if you know these cars if not bring someone who does
