You don’t actually fall asleep, but you’re getting there, and you wake yourself up just before you actually fall asleep, but for a few seconds, you imagined something that wasn’t really there. Yeah... happens all the time in first period math class...

I just completely mistake some dreams as reality. I "wake up" in the dream, do something or something happens and I "fall back to sleep" then wake up for real and assume that shit actually happened and when I talk about it, my family look at me like, "the fuck are you on about?"

I even remember that when I was little, I saw a really big bionicle set at Walmart and brought it up to my parents about how cool it was and how much I wanted it. And that was the only time I actually saw it on the shelf at Walmart, so I literally forgot the toy existed, and thought that I had dreamed about that bionicle set, until I got that exact toy for christmas, and the shock I felt was less of getting what I wanted, but realizing that I actually did tell my parents about it and it wasn't just a dream. Fucking adhd man, it really can mess with your mind with how it changes your processing and memory recall.
