People will be killing me when they complain about the Gina curl. My 4c hair is down my back and I’m getting this. I haven’t found a stylist that can do this with Gina’s results. I buy weave that cost about $500 a pop and use expensive curling creams all year around. I don’t care about her price, especially if it saves me from purchasing so much weave and creams. I love this video and you look good.
The hair style is pretty but regardless it’s chemicals that are breaking down the bonds on your hair. Perms etc aren’t nearly as bad as bleaching but dryness is possible. Your hair is always growing but my guess to why you see length would be because your hydrating it more often and the natural oils from your scalp are having an easier time flowing to the ends of your hair, since your curl pattern is now more loose. But any chemical process can cause damage if not taken care of correctly & diet also plays an important role. Thanks for the vid , I do appear your insight and honest review about the Gina curl.
Gina/Jeri curl same thing! The difference is there's a neutralizer still being placed on your hair however instead of putting them on the poem rods she's putting it directly on your hair, Gina perm rods your hair which is why you're under the dryer to set the curl. Also with Jeri Curls you had to cut off any previously permed hair as well! Talk to any Stylist that did Jeri curl back in day and they will tell you that's it just a Jeri curl.
Good video I got a Gina Curl last year it was pretty. I also have 4 c hair but I made a mistake and dye it and the dye was to strong it did things my hair out because of the dye. I am still going to go get another Gina curl because I still like it and it did not break my hair off like a relaxer or a Jeri curl would. Caucasian women do not get flack for perming their hair for convenience sake. So why should we give ourselves flack.
You're so cute 😍
You're way too extra. You're more worried about performing and looking cute than informing. No one is jealous of this scam. I feel sorry for anyone gullible enough to fall for this fuckery. It's a white woman's version of a Jherri curl. Nothing else. ONLY good thing about this video is that adorable dog. Everything else was b.s.
If your hair is going to be dry and shedding you may as well get $150 wave nouveau or carefree. An no you’re hair texture isn’t changing whatever grows out of your scalp will keep growing out.
