I always love how he's portrayed as a really evil, agressive character in BBS, but it always amuses me how you can ruin his day with Aero or Magnet. XD
This fight litterly took 5 minutes on the sucsessful attempt, which made the end scene where aqua was really tired and vanitas was out cold on the floor hilarious
I just realized that Aqua fought both master and apprentice in the same area, Xehanort and Vanitas. It's even referenced in KH3: a great battle took place here.
Really really like that sora's theme is there even before you discover how he looks like. It's just really hard to notice unless youve listened to the later versions of the theme
@@arzfan29 but he's literally just black haired yellow eyed kh2 sora with a variation of dark riku's outfit, besides the color scheme the only things unique to him are the helmet and keyblade, wdym (it should go without saying i think there's nothing inherently wrong with that either)
@@zaqareemalcolmdont forget the heartless symbol. I like to think that as vanitas is pretty much confirmed to be one of the primal darknesses released by xehanort, that costume is result of xehanorts misguided release. Seen also in rikus costume while posessed by ansem (xehanorts heartless)

because aqua wasn't part of their plans, terra was a spare vessel, and ventus purpose was to become stronger enough through his journey to forge the x-blade, aqua was just an annoyance, so xehanort put vanitas to deal with her while he was brainwashing terra
Vanitas had Aqua as a backup in case Ventus didnt meet him and Xehanorts expectations. But in the end Ventus was suitable so he just aimed to get rid of her in Neverland.

It because they are the Darkness of Ventus and Cloud, respectively. And, as the Master of Masters explained, The Darkness can only be destroyed if the Vessel gets destroyed with the Darkness in them.

Yes. The Darkness that is Vanitas is empowered by Ventus and Sora's Hearts. So Aqua cannot defeat them as long as Ventus's Heart is intact. Which is why Vanitas saying if Ventus Destroys that X blade they made, Ventus Heart will be destroyed, too. Luckily , Sora is also there. @@FluppietheRockruffFan

Aqua saved my ass in this game more times than I can remember she really is worthy of the keyblade master title.
It's funny that as Aqua we fight Vanitas pretty much anywhere we go, but as Ventus we only really ever fight him in the Badlands.

The fights between Vanitas and Ventus were planned and set up. The fights between Vanitas and Aqua were pretty spur of the moment.

the opening is actually my favorite part of this version! the way it plays during the beginning cutscene before the battle sets a good tone imo
