When he performs, Reeps has an incredible sense of composition -- he gets a full crowd of people dancing, whether for a 20 or a 60 minute set, with cleverly constructed arcs of tension and release. No other beatboxer does it like him. So when Reeps performs somewhere like TED, he's taking the format somewhere experimental. It's not dance, it's not battle. It's art. I fucking love it.

What makes this so interesting is that Reeps One mixes the past and the present making a possible future of how it sound like or might sound like. From the vocal expression of old humans by grunts or just sounds to the present where they add beats similar to edm or trap music. Correct me if I'm wrong...... Also what makes this otherworldly is the echoes and angelic choir voice combine together to make it transcend. That is just amazing, as if I'm watching a Sci-fi movie for the first time. I will watch this again with earphones on......

Great work there, also keep in mind while we think, some beings do listen to use so our voice is not only used to speak out loud becuse think is speaking to, thats what people used to call the secret law or something like that
I've been doing exactly the same thing...with loads of different vocal sounds..but am in a rural area in Australia..and have no voice..How to be heard expressively, viewed as 'a woman' in the margins..but also maki g male amd female sounds is another difficulty! If only to be able to send a few ideas to Reeps One and collaborate..*sigh*
