In keeping with the Christmas gift-giving tradition, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. and First Lady Louise Araneta-Marcos once again bring joy to children as they lead the 'Balik Sigla, Bigay Saya' program, a nationwide gift-giving event at Kalayaan Grounds, Malacañan Palace on November 26, 2023.
Now in its second year, the national gift-giving program is an initiative of the Office of the President through the Social Secretary's (SoSec) Office, supported by the President’s private partners, including Jollibee and San Miguel Corporation.
The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) has over 245 satellite centers participating in the nationwide simultaneous gift-giving event. A total of 17,268 children will receive gifts during this event, with some of the largest participating centers being Cebu Technological University with 449 children and Matina Campus in Davao del Sur with 600 children.
