Want to try Blue Mage, but need a little more info before you give it a go? Check this out. Just a couple minutes will let you know what you need to in order to get started. Discover if you want to try it solo, or whether you'll want to join up with a friend to get started.
Either way, getting BLU to 90 is fast, fun, and just the beginning of your Blue Magic journey.

for tempest leveling: there is a useful but also a bit suicidal way to mass solo exp just around the corner.
it involves clionids and deep-sea leeches; the latter are the favourite prey of the first mobs and if you poke a leech which is consumed by a clionid soon after it counts as killed and thus exp is yours. the dangerous part is you have to be near the clionids while doing so and clionids are not fond of you. if you pull the stunt at low level every leech poked and eaten means multiple lvls worth of exp but such a clionid and the leech are able to one shot you with ease. run for your virtual life :D
if you are able to poke the leech, wait for the "leechs gets eaten" reaction and then fight the clionid you will gain exp from both kills obviously.
Yeah, I know someone who solo-levelled off this strat and I thought to include it in the guide, but, when I went to try it myself for footage it became a bit of a disaster.🙊😵 Okay, a lot of a disaster. I decided to omit it. >.>

back from personal lvl hunt and did it from lvl15 to lvl50 and it was harsh. you can do that, but a lot of patience and gil for repair is required.

Im a new player, why does this class exist if it cant do normal content?
You can do all the content, actually, but cannot use the Duty Finder. You have to go through the Party Finder rather.
It is considered a limited job, and it's ability to play with other classes in synced duty finder content is restricted. That being said, it is another piece of great side content to get in to if you're looking for something new in the game. 💜

@@tvbuu Because it would be a difficult class to balance with all the other classes. A blue mage can dps, heal, and tank. It also allows you to experience old content in new ways.
Watch a blu mage fight a boss synced.... and you will know why.
Your spells are not limited to level so you can use boss spells at level 1 technically.
1 blu mage can solo most dungons, so they need a pre made party or party finder willing to take them.
What hairstyle are you using?
I am using the "Ambitious Ends" Hairstyle from the Mount Rokkon potsherd vendor. I hope this helps! 💜

You talk a lot about exp, but you don't talk much about playing the job. That's why I think it's terrible.
If the video was titled "how to lvl blue mage quickly", it would be completely different, but your title suggest it's about how to start playing BM, which at least I assumed was about low lvl spells, rotation, etc.
And btw, rested exp is something everybody is likely to be aware of long before lvl 50 - in other worrds, long before unlocking BM.

@@gamer_debbie I see what you mean. Yet my biggest issue she didn’t really say any skills or suggestions on what mobs to find. This is nothing but a level up system. @gamer_debbie that was my expectation. I wasn’t sure if you wanted to show something specific.
