Happy Father's day to all those amazing fathers of the awesome children❣️
What a fabulous children's garden! Because it's free, families can come here without having to worry about admission fees, which are a deterrent to inclusion. Giving children an opportunity to learn in a low-stress environment is a gift. Nice to know local government cares about children.
Nice, Linda…..and FREE! What a wonderful place to take children that doesn’t break the bank…..and is a learning experience with lots of shade for comfort.
Wow!.... How absolutely FABULOUS! I've never seen anything as charming! Boy, how I wish we had something like this in our area. My grandson would really love a place like this! And I so love that Kaitlin is into helping children discover and learn through all the senses! My sweet grandson is autistic ( he is verbal, very loving, and doing great in therapy) and my daughter, his mom, is an Occupational Therapist and just amazing with him! How fun it would be for him to experience all of this! I am going to tell her about this video. She is the type of gal that would take this info and gather the right people and place and create a space just like this! Just a WONDERFUL WATCH! Thanks, Linda and Stewart! I look forward to the second part of this tour tomorrow! Much love and blessings...
Thanks for the Deja vu Moment!
As a child my Mother pruned a “cave”under en enormous Bridal bush, we would go under with our Barbies, shake the branches for that ethereal moment of petal confetti. It was glorious!
OKC shines a little more each day with Linda and Stewart🌺🌺🌺
This is one of my FAVORITE tour videos! So many great plant ideas ... can't wait for Part II!
Linda this was marvelous. As a grandmother of a special needs child I wish every county would adapt this dream
Linda that video was magnificent
How sweet is she and knows her job really well .
What a marvelous children's garden - such a great place to learn and play! Our botanical garden offers summer classes for children. It's never too early for them to begin learning about gardening. Kaitlin is delightful. It is obvious she loves her job. The children are fortunate to have her there.
i was there last year around March and totally loved the gardens! Whenever I travel to other cities, the first thing I research is to see if there is a botanic garden to visit.
I would love this garden to be closer for my grandkids! Thank you so much for sharing this!👏🥰❤️
Wow! Just beautiful - thank you for sharing
The Myriad Gardens are such a gem, just like Linda & Stewert! The Children's garden is only a small portion of the property. It's always a priority to bring guests here for a garden walk. I cannot wait for the green house conservatory to be completed this Fall 🥰🌿
Wow, that was so fun, maybe you can go back in the fall to see the season change. Thank you.
OH MY WHAT AN INCREDIBLE SPACE &GARDEN !!! THANKS SO MUCH LINDA FOR GIVING US THIS ALONG WITH STEWART AND CAITLIN!!! AMAZING!!!!
What an enjoyable tour! Katelyn is so knowledgeable and enthusiastic. I love this children's garden and it's wonderful that it's free for all to enjoy in OKC.
Great to see a young woman like Caitlyn leading the tour. Knowledge and confident. A real asset to the botanical garden.
Hope your eyes are ok Linda. They looked a bit distressed and hyper extended.
Good work Stewart!
My granddaughter would LOVE THIS PLACE .
So would you Carol!
YES,I WOULD! YOU R SO RIGHT!
I adore this garden! I would be there with my kids or grandkids on a regular basis!!!
What a beautiful, fun play ground. So educational teaching children about plants getting to taste some grapes and play on the toys. And play in the water park. I have NEVER seen nor heard of such a beautiful park for children and adults as well. I’m so impressed with this concept. There definitely needs to be more of these garden parks all over America. 😍❤️🌺🌸🌻 I have to say what a neat idea for a school to have along with raised containers for the children to plant some vegetables and berries. It’s so fun to have pancake, popcorn smelling plants. I’m just mesmerized 🥰🤩 Thank you so much for sharing your field trip with us.
Gorgeous 😍 great choice of tour Linda. I'm helping design our community garden and this came at just the right time 😁 OMG the little house ❤️❤️❤️
What a beautiful place for children!! Enjoyed it Thank you
One of my favorite tours! How fun is this garden!! Thanks Linda and Stewart.
I wanted to see her tool belt. It looks handy.
Yes I was saying show me the grapes!!😂 thank you.
Love this tour! Please do more. Thank you, Linda and Stewart.
And kindly mic up each person!!!! 😉
Love your shirt! I have lived in OKC metro 40 years and have never been to the children’s garden, I need to take the grands
What a fun place for children and adults. Loved the storybook crayons! So clever.
Very impressive, what a garden gem! The city has done this right!
I live in Northern California and have a Rose of Sharon that I have let grow to size of a small tree that is about 8' tall, the hummingbirds love it when it is blooming, I also have a Monarc butterfly every Spring.
Kaitlin is a jewel.😊 Loved this tour and also seeing Linda’s excitement for new ideas.
I really enjoyed this video! Thank you for the plant names. So impressive!
Another wonderful tour, thank you!
Wow! Thank you for taking this field trip for us! Delightful! Great job Katelyn!
What a wonderful video!
Loved it. Can't wait for the next visit!
Wonderful place for kids/gardeners of all ages. Thanks for taking us along. Thank you, Katelyn, for the helpful information. You have done a fantastic job!
Beautiful garden! Thank you for showing it.
So much fun! I have been working on our children's garden (for the grandkids) and so many fun ideas from this. My most recent add on , we have taken round cedar posts , ranging in heights of 3 to 5 (above ground) and tipped the tops and are painting them up like colored pencils . Our first wave of grands were girls , now we have boys , so trying to take it from the fairy land concept to a bit more physically engaging way. I am very excited for the rest of the tour !!!!
I really loved this tour!! ❤️❤️
Our town has a childrens garden but not as extensive. But there is a large water feature & playground. A favorite spot for birthday parties. We all could use a magic happy place. Love the crayons, spheres, maze & music pads. All of it! 😄🥰
Great place. Thanks for sharing
Hi Linda and Stewart
Great great show today! I love childrens gardens. So important to have them in town and grow one in your yard. Children like to use the utensils and have their own boxes. Be careful with Rose of Sharon. I have them and yes butterflies love them. But get the variety that does not propagate by seedlings. They grow in your lawn and in your other beds. I’m always pulling them. But there are varieties that dont do that. Also Rose of Sharon does not leaf out until June so it’s pretty brown all spring here in 7a New York. But I still like it and use it as a cut flower as well! Yes to a trip back to see it in bloom!!!
Wow it’s almost like RHS Garden’s in United Kingdom London
Oh what a wonderful garden in the center of KC! Awesome!!!!
You guys made me go pop me some popcorn when you talked about the popcorn plant 🤣
Katlin mentioned an author that writes stories for children about gardening. I’m in a garden club in Mt View Missouri. We support the library and would like to find books for children about gardening. They have story time each week throughout the summer. I could not hear the the authors name she mentioned. Do you by any chance know his name or any other books that would be good for our library
I will pass this on to her!
The author she mentioned is Aaron Slater.
Lindo lugar boa noite 💖💖💖💖💖
hi
love this garden. please revisit🎉❤
It’s beautiful in the fall. They decorate this whole area with pumpkins, gourds, mums, pansies, and kale.
I have a hard time hearing when you have guests join! Can you get an extra mic for guests? I don't know how expensive that might be, just an idea. I LOVE YOU GUYS and will still be watching!
