Margaret Rudkin sold her Pepperidge Farm business to Campbell Soup Company in 1961, continuing to supervise operations until her retirement in 1966. She died a year later, at the age of 69.
Something tells me that in the filter manufacturing Factory using fiberglass at the factory itself was not using many filters to keep the little micro bits of that garbage out of the guys lungs

Does anyone know if this program was produced at or near Portland, Oregon? I've watched several episodes now and find it fascinating how different people were back then, but I've noticed Portland mentioned in several episodes now. Being from Milwaukie Oregon (a suburb of Portland) I couldn't help notice that in this episode both Portland and Salem (Oregon's Capital) were mentioned. I spent many years living in Salem and had never heard about an amusement park ride manufacturer being located there. It would be interesting to find out exactly where it was since I live fairly close to Salem now. A side note: I moved from Milwaukie to Salem in 1977. Right before the Trailblazers won their one and only NBA Championship to date.
What she has to do first to prepare the fur, is club the hapless animal(s) to death. Funny how trends shift. My mother has mink, fox, sable etc furs, but doesn't wear them anymore. I am pretty sure there are some dudes around here where I live, in the deep South, that would love a deerskin jacket/coat.

The Mad Tea Party ride has been a part of Disneyland since it opened in 1955. This TV show dates to 1954.
I think I saw some of my relatives working at the Pepperidge Farm bakery.
