Nice thing about jewelry vs other crafts, every scrap could be saved and it's always a useful amount. It's not even a big ask to melt the super tiny pieces together.

If you dip steel tweezers into the pickle acid, you will always get a coating on the jewelry piece. You can avoid that by using copper tweezers or tongs...as you can see, the items come out of the pickle with a red coating - that is the iron deposited from the tweezers
@@alicornpaladin9115 if you use acid, any acid, and use iron tongs or tweezers, the iron will deposit in the acid and stick to anything that gets dipped into it...use copper utensils, better deal, less cleanup
would it be possible for you to share the dimensions of the pendant? i am going to try to make something similar and it would make the project so much easier. if you could that would be awesome, great job on the pendant.

My favorite thing about this pendant is that you can both put in and take out the sword. It adds a little bit of character to it.

I make 1/10 scale swords as a hobby. What did you quench with? I use canola oil at just below boiling.
I like how you used the sword to help with sanding the handle. That was a clever use of what you already had on hand.
