UTKind UTD Naveen Jindal

Naveen Jindal came to The University of Texas at Dallas from India in 1990 as a 20-year-old student and earned his MBA two years later. During his time at UTD he was elected student president and flew his native country’s flag proudly in his office on campus. When he returned to India, Jindal tried to similarly hoist the Indian flag at his business but was denied. Why? Jindal fought for the right for private Indian citizens to fly their country’s flag on home soil - the case went all the way to the Indian Supreme Court.
