Commenting on this video since it was the last one I watched before I finally got my Platinum Trophy. I'm sure your Chapter 14 strategy video is coming soon, but thanks to the ideas in all of your other videos I was able to put something together and scrape by with the hard clear on my own. Thank you SO much for all your hard work with these videos. These are single-handedly the reason I was able to get the Platinum Trophy - Especially your work with Brutal Challenges and Legendary Bouts. THANK YOU!!!
I would add to this. in the materia add Revive as well as prayer and chakara and some HP UP where possible. This way you can heal just in case and take less time worrying about health. Also for the second demon Gate B he is weak to Ice so hit him with that and it should get the job done.

People this is how you beat it. You need save as much magic you can with Aerith Cloud and either Tifa or Yuffie. Focus one one. Spam that tag team that spams down. The animation can’t be interrupted. In between heal. With whoever. It’s gonna be hectic. Put anti stone armour of Aerith and the other girl. Give cloud that metal that makes his limit level higher. Try. Try and make him get the stagger. This is the only way. You be trying experiment forever. Think of it like a fighting game.
If that’s hard mode you made it look very easy 👍

Its not hard mode its: enemies do more damage and they have more HP. Have fun!

@@surq0784 if enemies had more moves in hard mode and were more agressive then yes thats hard so hard mode but same pattern same shet only more damage and more hp is not harder its just time consuming.
Gimmick mode, more HP, less fun. Tbh I liked some of it. I like the characters obviously and combat but most of the bosses need brumal form spam to not DESTROY our MP in here! Out of combat magic efficiency healing still requires 19 MP for cure 3
this is one of those fights i had no issue with hard mode or otherwise

I beat this before the video was uploaded but I just used your Brutal 6 build lol. I feel that build and this can wreck just about every boss encounter. Really curious to see your Chapter 14 boss guides as party members are randomly assigned during Sephi boss fights.
Yea its very annoying, im having to just plan out Cloud, and put the same on everybody else due to the randomness. Though im still testing, hopefully can figure something out

Replaying all these long chapeter is a pain. They could just make us beat the boss on VR in hard and gg, but like this is just a grind. Almost done btw
Thanks man. I tried many different things myself got really good at it and feel like i did it pretty much perfectly but it‘s just not possible to do it the normal way. They kinda ruined this game with this difficulty for me.

Got my platinum but will watch your chapter 14 vid to see if you had a similar stat to me. Jenova is the hardest part for me and the randomness of you don’t get yuffie when you need to hit sephirorhs elemental wings. I unluckily had my power go out after the last battle and the last checkpoint is at the altar. I was raging lmao.
Jenova is easy with my strat, and we take out stage 6 Sephi (the elemental wings part) with 3 x Limit Breaks lv3 XD, no way i was messing about with those elemental wings!!!
Just hope my explanations make sense as i figured out how to know who joins at what phase, but tricky to explain

It felt a little cheap beating it this way, but this boss uses even more shithouse techniques than Rufus does, so fuck it. Spent over an hour beating Demon Gate A only to have B spam attacks as soon as I started on him.

Thankfully it was all bug fixes (allegedly).
I’m guessing they patched the ultimate party animal quest so that it’s completable again.

These strats are very unlikely to be patched because you're essentially just using in game mechanics to your advantage and that'd require to rework so much of how the game actually works.
Opti usually factors that in with any game too and even actively tries to use strats that aren't likely to get patched, he just built different
my brumal form doesnt seem to do jack shit what am i doing wrong ?
You have all the ATB buffs from folios as well, and have haste active?
@@Optinooby no idea lol I am missing some stuff but not much no idea what I actually am missing I have just been blindly unlocking the folios thinking ohh well I will get them all eventually without knowing what stuff does

you need to be in the ATB ward

Go back & fight some enemies with mp absorption linked to powerful magic to boost your my if its low
He doesnt start the fight with full MP. Not even close. Maybe watch the video.
