I think you can twice see the crew on 3828 hold out a rag or something to cover the second 8 in an effort to make it not be so obvious that it's not 3827!
To think, the beautifully restored 3830 use to be displayed in the courtyard of the Powerhouse museum. Brought in under her own steam. People lined up everywhere to watch! What a draw card the Museum lost, at the hands of the state Liberal gov!
I think 3830 has a better life now double heading the newcastle flyer with her pilot sister 3801 out of Thirlmere regularly. Powerhouse should receive the static 3820 display at some stage however, I would hope.
