I think it just comes down to positional value, teams find success without a tight end but every team needs tackles/qbs/receivers etc
I like going through these mocks because I get to see people’s analysis from each team picking talent. However, what I would want to also see/hear more about is the decision for other positions of need in either FA, or through other draft picks. For example, if a team like the Raiders, who arguably need a QB the most over other positions, end up taking a tackle like Fuaga what do you think their plan at qb is going to be if they don’t take one in the first round? Obviously this extends the length of the video but I would love to hear about how teams could strategically target each of their teams needs through the draft, FA, and what ever other avenues. Love the content either way!!

One of these mock drafts at some point should have the vikings trading up into the top 3 to get a qb because of it being a realistic possibility

Hot take: bears are trading out with NE so they can take who they want between Daniels and CW. Maye falls to 5 where Denver trades up and sends the farm to LA who can later grab OL, CB, or Bowers. Elway will pursue Cousins and Mayfield in the off-season and they’ll both opt to return.
I could definitely see the trade up if he fell to 5, but I personally don't see Maye falling to 5. Maybe Jayden does but even that I think is unlikely

As a broncos fan I came to this same conclusion a couple of weeks ago. I said trading up to 7 to get ahead of Atlanta, but 6 works too.

If it lands on trade, spin a wheel with all 32 NFL teams for the teams that will be trading up. You can spin the team wheel again if it is to unrealistically. Example: you land on the Chiefs to trade whit the bears for the #1 pick.

Broncos trading up for McCarthy is crazy. Broncos will be able to select him at #12 and that will still be a reach. Trading up for him is foolish and I don't see the Broncos trading up for anyone unless Drake Maye falls to 3 or 4 or Daniels falls to 5 or 6

maybe because your a stat checker and don’t realize his elite athleticism, elite speed, and his elite ability to extend plays. clearly shows you know nothing about how the nfl works. you should feel embarrassed commenting this.

@@IchHabsImUrin if you are wanting to take much older Bo Nix over an athletic freak like JJ McCarthy who finds ridiculous ways to make something out of nothing you aren’t setting yourself up for long term success. Bo Nix is not a high prospect. Bo Nix is one of those guys that will be taken in the late 2nd to a team who isn’t dying for a QB. I don’t understand people base prospects off of college. JJ had no receivers hardly and that was the weakest part of the team. so they did what was best for them to win. but yet is an elite prospect because he has all the tools to be elite. if you want to win down the road and he is still available after the top couple QBs go this is a no brainer pick.

You know bengal you always have the Titans drafting Tackles, and I get that position is so important, but imo that’s a Vrabel pick. Imo I don’t think there’s any world where the titans don’t draft one of the top 3 wideouts in this draft. They’re head coach was even the OC of the bengals when they drafted Chase over Sewell
