Such a fantastic song from the brilliant Bob Schneider. Proving that a great song can transcend genres and time, here is Bob doing what I believe is the original version of it with his rock-funk band from the early 90s, Joe Rockhead. Saw them live in Austin around that time. Sure wish the Joe Rockhead albums/CDs were still in print. ruclips.net/video/ps7wJsHiGpE/видео.html Then later it evolved into a slow burn with horns when he did it in 96 with The Ugly Americans. ruclips.net/video/3_PwgvrC3GA/видео.html You can also find him doing it here in YT on solo acoustic guitar.
Always was my favorite of Bob Schneider's. Live at ACL with a great group -- can't be beat for the music and wit!

He looks like Jason London, aka Randall Pink Floyd.
Interesting, the natural frequency at which I bounce my leg fits with the tempo of this song perfectly.
Still the best version of this song.

@SimiHalu Mine too.
What was the original date of this ACL?
I wish I knew too but I remember recording it in the early to mid 2000's... Just researched and the performance was from 2001.
