TootyUk. Yes some of that text is just so dammed small and our eye sight doesn’t make things any better. Must admit it does sound like we are 5 again trying to read it out lol. Keep safe and well mate. 👍
Hi there. I came across you channel yesterday and have been watching your videos. I'll continue watching the rest. I am also collecting Mastertronic games etc. Just so you know, there was a Megaplay 2 which came out for the Spectrum under the Virgin Mastertronic label. It had 5 games which are Jungle Warfare, Billy The Kid, Bronx Street Cop, F-16 Fighter Falcon and American Turbo-King. These games also were Magum Lightphaser, keyboard or joystick operated. I'm not aware of a C64 Megaplay 2 but if there is, happy to hear about it! Keep up the good videos, thanks.
Halfway through this video and I see that you have mentioned the case numbers on the side. I have a spreadsheet of what the vast majority of them are. Happy to let you know what they are. Not just the C64 ones, but the various formats which were available.
RetroMicky82, we haven’t had much time to post on Instagram recently but we do still have a flick through every now and then and as you say have seen your pics of your pick ups. It’s always good to see what others are picking up, it’s amazing how many times somebody picks up a game you’ve forgotten all about. Thanks as always for watching and getting in touch. Stay safe and well mate. 👍
RetroMicky82, got a few Firebird games in the collection but not looked into collecting them seriously as yet. I’ve always liked the look of the games they put out in the clamshell cases and have thought of collecting just those. I have no idea how many they did in the clamshell packaging though. 👍
Laura Lou , hi yes 180 is a really fun game. Never played it on the Atari though. We’ve just uploaded the next Mastertronic Quest video as we obviously haven’t been able to get together to make and record this months Retro Gamer Show. We hope that you, your family & friends are all staying safe and keeping well. 👍
Sorry for the long delay in replying. Don’t need many at all now. I have completed all the Mastertronic, Mastertronic Plus, M.A.D, Ricochet, Entertainment USA & Bulldog titles. So it’s just a few needed to finish the Rack It, Americana & Tronix labels. Some people probably wouldn’t bother with those labels either but for some reason I am lol. I must admit that I never realised Mastertronic released games under so many different names when I started all of this. 😀👍
Not sure what that game is you're showing when you're talking about Hektik but it's WAY too good looking to be that game! Hektik was a clone of the arcade game Space Panic and was one of the first games I reveiwed when I started my Mastertronic collection over 8 years ago! ruclips.net/video/e8_FH7_F2us/видео.html
witchfinder1976. Your obviously right that game is not the Mastertronic version of Hektik. I can’t believe I didn’t notice. I have never played the C64 version but I did own Hektik on the C16 back in the day so I should have realised. On checking the D64 file I recorded the footage from it is a game called Hektik but copyrighted to Little t.v. Men Software in 1989. 😳 👍
Best intro song ever!
i just enjoyed you pair trying to read the blurbs!
