When I first played GX as a kid I thought this was batman. That and this was one of the only machines I could be the game on Master class with. I've come a long ass way since then, heh.
In the game's technical stats, the Black bull actually has the highest natural boost duration in-game, with a boost strength and max speed stat (Compounded by the game's second-highest natural weight) that outclasses most cars that state they have 'A' boosters. As a matter of fact, all cars with a stated 'A' booster actually have very average boost strengths and durations. Black Bull's real letter grades should probably look something like ABC or ABB.
Actually Fat shark has the longest lasting boost but black bull has the highest natural top speed. While Fat shark has the fastest boost speed in the game.
Dude, you make this machine look too easy on the tracks! It's a real shame that only Sega can unleash its true potential, whereas the Nintendo games, excepting Climax, make it to be weak! I wish it wasn't altered so much from GX, not counting the rigged Story Mode Bull. Makes me yearn for Black Shadow so much for Smash! Damn you, Sora!
Have you forgotten Project M putting Black Shadow in Smash already? I often say fanmade is better than official for this reason, since they include F-Zero instead of pushing them away. Anyway though, it's not just my doing. Black Bull in GX really is the easiest version to use. Part of it also includes how the tracks accommodate it better than any game in the series. The GBA versions could be okay too, but as Climax shows the tracks have to accommodate all machines. GPL almost seems to favor nimbler machines which cuts out a chunk of racers when it comes to ease of use.
So what happened with the stats in GX? It kind of seems like when designing the game, Sega applied their own, updated, stats to each vehicle... but still left all the "letter" ranks for each one the same, maybe to appease Nintendo and keep everything looking the same way they did in F-Zero X just for the sake of appearance? Does anyone know anything about this? I guess another question would be: You know how you unlock tickets to buy vehicles in GX, and in the vehicle shop, there is a separate stats chart detailing five different capabilities of the vehicle. Are the stats a more accurate representation of the vehicles abilities?
It's not surprising that Black Bull, very frequently, makes it to the top 6 positions as an AI opponent. It also helps that it has 'decent' AI - some AI racers have this odd habit of always leaning, even when going straight.
I’m the only one here who can say “I personally never liked the way this thing handled”. The high speed part I can understand. But the high boost and the awful grip is kind of terrible. Probably because I suck at drifting lol
According to the AX CARDT files, "the machine has a strong body and a nice grip which makes it easier for the beginners to drive." If I did have to suggest vehicles for newcomers, Black Bull would be the last one on the list. It is way too strong to use at a novice level. Blue Falcon, White Cat, Astro Robin, Queen Meteor, Mighty Typhoon, Deep Claw, Mad Wolf, and virtually every AX Machine except Fat Shark would easily have been better for new players. As for drifting though, it will take some time to get used to, but would suggest practicing on places like Twist Road and Drift Highway.
I wouldn't say unrivaled in terms of performance, but in terms of design? That's unrivaled. What was Black Shadow thinking when designing this thing?? Do aerodynamics not come to his mind? That part that suspends the cockpit should slow it down due to drag. Even if it has those vents. Second, the engines. GX says that it has 4 DS020H engines. They're all the same. One is located in the driver pod. That means they're tiny. How do engines that small propel a 2+ ton car at 1130 kmh?! This car probably makes physicists run home and cry to their mommies. It plays unusually well albeit hard to keep under control considering its intended stats and design. *Why....??????*
@@PresMan36 F-Zero machine design is all over the place and I like it. It matches the pilot variety. I mean there are converted planes (Little Wyvern, Hyper Speeder), stuff that look like racecars a bit (Golden Fox, White Cat, Astro Robin), long sticks (Red Gazelle, both Meteors), things on sticks (both Mightys, Wonder Wasp), blocks of metal (Crazy Bear), balls of metal (Wild Goose, Fire Stingray) even a taxi! I also think the Blood Hawk looks like a tuned car for street racing, and the Night Thunder an old "classic" car.
@@jesuisunstroopwafel And if count custom machines, you can get even stranger shapes. In some cases, planets or plain UFOs (if using Giant Planet body)
So... With such an extremely powerful machine only challenged by the likes of the Fat Shark, it makes you wonder why Black Shadow hasn't already taken over everything already. And honestly, the more and more I look into that, the more I realize that it's not because anything's holding him back, it's because Black Shadow might actually not be an _actual_ villain but rather F-Zero's equivalent of a wrestling heel, and that BS Group is actually an entertainment technology corporation that exists primarily to back the spectacle of Black Shadow playing said heel character.
It's a beast of a machine! Charges up to full speed and destroys everything in its path. I would like to think that since there are no more F-ZERO games, Black Shadow must have killed Captain Falcon.
I dunno, I find the Black Bull really tough to control, it's insanely easy to loose grip (which makes me question the A grip rating) although it can chain MTS like nobody else can.
It's impossible to miss this machine while racing it stands out so much lol
The King of the 30 F Zero x Machines. Only fat shark can compete. All other Machines are out of their League. Nice vid!
If you exclude a few custom machines then the Black Bull actually has the single best snaking strength in the game
Oh yeah. It's seriously uncanny how powerful it can get.
I thought Mad Wolf was the best non custom snaker
@@PresMan36 The Mad Wolf is still a pretty good snaker I think, but the Black Bull just gets so much more speed from the technique
What’s fat shark good at again?
@@Toxic_Gamer347 shift boosting, mt, has the strongest and longest boosted, heavy af so good speed retention

What I have heard great things about the Black Bull
Now
if only I could use it!
This is why Black Bull is such a Badass Racing Machine and I also wanna say that Black Shadow is Underrated as a Whole 🦹🏾♂️🐃🖤
easy to handle he says, to me it feels more like trying to ride a wet soap bar
It’s practically as slippery as Wild Goose.
This thing is my ultimate rival however, the low acceleration of the Black bull makes it easy for me to take him out at the start of a race

I would say yes. But tbh the stats for the most part just lie😂. Just gotta try them all until you find one that suits you best.

Black Shadow made this video
I tried it out and it feels like I'm driving an actual brick
I got this game a month ago, and only today i tried the black bull, i find it easier to use when i snake rather than using max speed funnily enough

That first scene in GX still has me laugh when it's flying around in the air. It just seems incredibly awkward, but funny.

The letter stats are blatant lies. They're just copy pasted from F-Zero X, where they were accurate.
I really want to love it with max speed settings, but it’s way too slippery for me…
For snaking however, this one is a blast!
