I have done both and the torsion rod bushings isolated the majority of the wobble. The link corrected the finer shake from 70-80 kph. Tire balance is crucial. If you have spacers its CRITICAL they are centered perfectly.
No spacers but the lug pattern is not exact. I tried to center them as best I could. Over 75 kph it goes away. That’s why I think it’s bushings. I have center link and torsion bushings on the way. Just going to replace both and call it a day haha. Thanks for the content man.
I replaced my centerlink and stablilizer bar bushings and still have a wobble at 80kph and a hard pull. Im going to be replacing the bushings and springs once i get new ones in. They have the bushings on ebay and i guess it works for alot of people.
Next thing I am doing is the torsion bar bushings as well. However not mentioned and I am sure you know is ensuring you either have good centering rigs or centering lugs.
@@tunanocrustgarage yeah man. I got centering rings and tried to center my wheels as best as possible. My front suspension drops 1.5" when i get in it, i suspect weak springs.
@@primo_acty2813 best way to see if you have runout in the wheels is simply to jack it up, put the entire truck on jackstands. Put in Drive or 2nd gear and just let it idle. Watch the wheels and if you have another person who can apply a touch of trottle and hold rpm you will get a better visual of either the imbalance OR the runout. Also if the runout is bad enough it will cause your suspension to react. it the suspension bounces while jacked up its pretty much shot and time for replacement. Alternatively to test the suspension just do a good bounce test on the ground.
Are you referring to the entire Center Link? If so it comes as a unit with all ball joints and bushings included. I had some extra energy suspension boots and replaced one of the boots on the new center link.
I have a bad wobble at 40mph with new wider tires. Did you see more improvement with the center link replacement or the torsion bushings?

Where did you get your lower ball joints from ?
@@WinterSoldier242 did you mean the center link? I have not replaced the ball joints yet.
what bushings did you use? do you have the part numbers?

Where did you buy the bushings and boots
Amazon or any local parts store.
Do you know which ones? There are people trying to sell boots for $100 online. Trying to see a cheaper option.
How is the Acty these days?
Rather the Acty's XD. One turned into two....which might turn into three soon.....developing a habit.
