This monster was created due to Darkside experiments. And it targeted Jedi. Due to how vicious it was, along with poisonous tusks and sharp claws, this was the only species that the Jedi deemed too dangerous to be left alive.

They only killed it because it targeted Jedi. It wouldn’t be any more dangerous than the average monster but because it wants to hurt specifically the government, they must kill it as it is “too dangerous”. Sounds like real life governments controlling everything they fear at the expense of others.

Awesome video! I remember a darkhorse comic about a group of jedi whom tried to undertake the great hunt, but the darkside consumed their emotions. This made them sloppy and they each perished. Like “Gun Han” thought he could solo a potential Terantatek sighting on Kashyyke…only be eaten whole. Revan later came to kashyyke with his/her party and killed it, findung Gun Han’s journal in the remains.

Dark lords of the sith like Plageuis and Exar Kun were some of the sith that inspired the creation of a sith for my dnd campaign, Darth Willow. It was like combining the scientific inquiry of plaguis, the amorality of Palpatine, and the madness for experimentation of Stein from Soul Eater. She would make chimeras from the corpses of fallen Jedi and sith. And her exact words on why? “It would be a waste to leave such valuable samples to litter the battlefield. Why not recycle them? It keeps the environment clean, and nothing goes to waste in my laboratories.”

Japan has figured out that catfish react to earthquakes before most other equipment can detect it. So using this they added a sensor to a catfish tank and when it’s active they know there’s an earthquake coming. If they Jedi had done that with a Terrentatek the clone wars may have never happened. Just keep one in the basement of the Jedi temple and toss it a bantha every few years. When it wakes up you have dark side, easy!

Luke: Forgotten Emperor, I will never join you. Now if it was a OG Sith that offered me the deal, I have to admit that I might consider it...
Paltatine: Wait, what? I'm the only Sith to have taken control of the galaxy. I am the most powerful Sith that has ever existed!!
Luke: Yes, as far as political power. The Ancient Sith actually did amazing things with the Force. Where is your army of bloodthirsty monsters? Or your virus that turns people into killing machines?
Palpatine: We're inside the biggest superweapon ever built!!
Luke: Oh yeah. The half finished station protected by a not very well defended force field. How much do I bet you that now the stormtroopers you left down there are ework food? You know who didn't need a waste of credits to destroy planets? Darth Nihilus
Palpatine: I, too, can unleash such destructive power... though I might die in the process.
    Luke: Yeah, sure.
Darth Vader: Honestly, you don't have much to impress the kid. I'm still waiting for you to bring Padme back to life. Perhaps Darth Plagueis would have already brought her back and cured me, too.

Jed'aii is pronounced Jee-Diie. I've always thought the authors of the EU liked how the Vong would pronounce Jedi ("JED'AI" as they'd scream it like a witch hunter inqusitor screams HERETIC in 40k)
So later on, after the New Jedi Order came to a close and focus shifted to the ancient Jedi right before disney bought the franchise and cancelled the EU, someone said:
"Hey, remember how the Vong pronounced "Jedi"? That was awesome, so let's make it a thing of irony that Jed'aii was the ancient original name. Hey, y'know, monkeys over millennia in a locked room with food, water and typewriters will eventually make shakespeare as the saying sorta goes..."
Surprised the fandom never caught on to such a probable easter egg. Its not the first time something like this happened in the good old days of Star Wars.

Hi Geetsly’s! I’ve got a question I wish you would answer with a new post. I get how the Jedi Masters and Knights got slaughtered over the duration of the Clone Wars and ultimately through Order 66. However, beyond the Knights and Masters there were all the Jedi Trials wash outs that filled the ranks of the Jedi Service Corps. There had to be thousands of these Corps members, especially in the Agriculture and Exploration sections, that were scattered across the Galaxy and not directly involved in leading clones into battle. I would assume many of them escaped Order 66. Where the actively hunted? Were they not considered a threat like the knights and masters because a lack of strength as a force wielder as compared to knights and masters? What happened to them all?

The combativeness and occasional lethality of magical powers and enhancements like lightning-bending/Force lightning, time manipulation, and magitek guns just suit me more, and don't get me started on capable and competent anti-mage Muggle units and organizations... now they're a blessing on what isn't supposed to be a realm of gods and godlikes.
