- Jeeping and hiking with family in Talladega National forest. We stop to picnic for lunch at Cheaha Mountain and hiked to see Cheaha falls. We did a 60 mile run and a one mile hike. We met at Publix in Oxford. We couldn’t have picked a better day, it was gorgeous weather and fall had created a colorful display of all the trees. We have done these trails before but today was a opportunity for family to get together with all of our Jeep’s. We have a few in the family. The newest addition is the Gladiator. Today would start off just cruising through and hitting 600-1 and 600-2. #talladega #alabama #jeep
Riding Theough Talladega National Forest In the fall Is a great idea. Always go with someone just In case you get into some trouble but If not have radios for an emergency. You will not be disappointed by these trails. They are perfect for beginners but you can also get stuck in some mud. The scenery in Ala never disappoints. Especially the overlook on 600-1 where the power lines are.
600-1 & 600-2 are great trails to run. They're just relaxing. I've done both trails before, but not in the same day. That's on the bucket list
