I work at a university overnights until 4am everyday and I've gotten stuck on elevators a couple of times. I imagine it felt like that panic I felt. I would have had a full panic attack in that situation. So props to you for keeping your cool for the most part 🤣

So my theory is that Val is the keeper of all the ghosts in the Colfax area, and she has to feed them people energy regularly, and when she met Garrett she realized he's basically made of endless energy, so now she's sending him to all these ghosts and it will keep them sated for years.

Not sure about y'all.. but of all the paranormal videos I have watched, this was the most uncomfortable I felt. Even with Garrett and Andrew trying to make things light. I had chills the whole time and felt this overwhelming emotion. I wasn't even there and I felt this clear as day. Also, I can't get over how kind Garrett is! He and Val were just having a jolly old time together, made my heart happy😊

My mother and I were in a car accident, she didn’t make it. A few months after the accident, I was asleep for the night. She came to me in a dream and I knew she was in spirit form because she was translucent. We were discussing my life since on the couch in our home. After some conversation, I asked her “how has heaven been?” I am not a religious person what so ever so I’m not sure why I asked her this, but she responded with “I wanted to make sure you were okay before I left you for heaven.” It’s been almost 6 years since I’ve lost her, and I haven’t had a dream of her since.
My dad died of cancer in 2020 and the night he died (I was not there with the rest of the family when he passed unfortunately - but I was meant to go that weekend to see him one last time) he came to me in a dream. I was at the hospice center and he was laying in bed telling me he was fine, everything was okay and stuff. It was very reassuring it was 100% him I believe.
I also sometimes I have dreams where he’s there. The only scary one was when it was him and I was talking to him in our house and my grandma and my aunt who have all passed. And idk how we got on the conversation, but he said “you can stay if you want but it’s not your time left” and I woke up so abruptly. I am pretty convinced I almost died that night but my soul decided it wasn’t time idk NOTHING explains that.

Was doing some digging, and found out that Mr. Perkins died around 11 pm in his house, around the time you guys were exploring. I just thought it was a little crazy considering to me a lot of the noises sounded like an older man being sick (blowing his nose instead of the "mine", and clearing his throat when they first opened the closet.)

Yes I still remember when they stayed at the haunted ship with Shane & Ryland. Andrew didn’t want to go into the closet. I think he said something along the lines of “I used to be really scared of these things when I was a kid.” You can tell he realllyyy didn’t want to engage in anything other than filming. My last time touring at St. Ignatius I only went around with the little green light from the EMF reader 😂 Besides one voice that pops up every time I've been there that doesn't sound/feel nice..the rest feels nice/just people there that were staying at the hospital! So feel pretty comfy in there after awhile 😁😅
I know a place in Pennsylvania that is INCREDIBLY active, the ENTIRE city is haunted, we have SO MANY legends and stories and even skeptics believe in the ghosts here. WE HAVE A TOWN WIDE CURFEW BECAUSE OF HOW BAD THE HAUNTINGS ARE!!!

What I love about Garrett and Andrew's videos is that they go to "lesser known" haunted locations. They're never the same spots that all the other videos are in. They always seem to really respect the energy of these places. Colfax seems like a special place!
Yeap, they tend to ask in depth questions to people within communities, listen, and take their experiences seriously... which can potentially lead to their next investigation.

I also am SO impressed with your audio recording quality! I don't know how you do it but the clarity, the quality of the surround recording as things happen around you, is surreal. I felt like I was there. She's made deals with all the spirits so the neighbours stop going missing, but that requires a few unwitting visiting ghost hunters go missing every year.

I think it's incredibly sweet that Garrett and Val became friends, to the point where Val hands over the key with complete trust in Garrett.
Think about it, would you trust a RUclipsr with a historical building that you're responsible for? The hospital is one thing- they allow people to go in there all the time. Val knows she can trust Garrett. I would be freaking out, entrusting a RUclipsr to film in such a building (no matter HOW much I liked them) unless I was positive I could trust them.
Having your phone recording in the background was a great idea! I think you guys should do that for every episode just encase the camera misses something. Maybe even having it in another room? Great video!

I explored an abandoned college from the early 1900s. My husband went in one of the dorm closets and I thought it'd be funny to shut the door on him. Well then the door wouldn't open back up for a good 15 seconds. The panick I had was insane. I thought I had just locked him in there for good!

I wonder if Garrett ever has dreams about these places and feels like the spirits there are calling him back. I still get dreams about my childhood home and although there weren’t many paranormal experiences there, the energy in that house was so incredibly eerie. Like you could feel the electricity and the energy in every single room. Every time I dream about it, I am always aware in my dream that I’m not supposed to be there and that I literally don’t live there anymore. I feel like the house calls to me all the time. Like it wants me to come back.

One thing about those type of doors is that there are two door knobs from the inside, the second knob over the bottom knob (the one you see from outside the room). That’s the doors way of locking itself, you just close the door. So when you open the door you have to turn the top door knob, and it did not look like he was doing that 😅😅😅
