As someone that is also trained in music(playing a few stringed instruments the sax) and that has studied Jazz theory;I don't really see what your talking about.Out of all their songs they chose a good selection that bends well and tells their story as a group quite well!Also considering that there are at least 4 talented composers on that stage right now I think they know what their doing!

I have been listening to them for over 11 years and I still can't get enough.
The FE catalog holds up so good, the catalog gets STRONGER over the years.
FE is always an incredible musical experience!

They really are such a good band. Used to listen to them when interning in Congress in DC, listening to FE always reminds me of that time.
