  • In this video I analyze the character and actions of Madara Uchiha, going into why I find his actions during the Fourth Shinobi War as outright antithetical to his ideals and plans.
Thank you very match for watching. Feedback is, as always, very much appreciated!

Before watching the video, i also came to the conclusion that Madara, even if his motives were objectively for the greater good (a world without suffering) as soon as Hashirama appeared, he completely ignored his own plan and immediately started to be excited, agressive and passionate. The man was like Vegeta and even could i dare to say like the coyote and the road runner. His life only had purpose while the "game" lasted.

First off I want to say I really enjoyed the video! It's not often I see people point out that Madara was a hypocrite just that his method was bad.

the majority of the villain turning up to be peacemakers is a late serie retcon..in my other comments i talke about atmosphere but in terms of ideaologies early naruto was about social acceptance and sexual competition between teenagers..lee wanted to prove his '' ninja way '' by fighting strong opponent .. naruto was always jealous of sasuke popularity with girls so he wanted to outperform him..the 3rd hokage was sending kids to the die in the forest of chunin exam to prove they are worthy warriors..the jonins were asking for narutos death after he stole the shadow clone scroll..but the whole show became about friendship and peace ..because the editor made kishimoto force this japanese buddist idealogy of a perfect society by transcanding human desires so by the end everyone is fighting for peace and '' the sins of the past '' of '' the cycle of hatred '' which isnt realistic compared to the early story were fights were about ego and masculinity or poverity or survival ...plus it doesnt fits a fighting story were everything is solved with violence even by the '' good guy '' which the source of the hypocrisy of madara because of the contradiction between his ego and his ideals .. oh wait sorry kishimoto everybody deep down is a good guy apart from hidan and kakuzo the best characters in shippuden
