I am a transplanted NY'er that grew up not far from NYC. I was able to see the brillance of the towers from my neighborhood every single day even tho i lived 20 miles away. I was living in another state on 9/11, with my wife and daughters. I was returning from work on the morning it happened after turning on the news after the first tower had been struck. I was praying that it was a tragic accident until seeing the 2nd tower being hit. I have no words.😭😭😭 Lost an old HS friend that was a NY firefighter, and a college friend that worked in the south tower.😭 I hadn't been keeping in regular touch with both of them, but felt the emptiness after finding out they were gone.😭 ALWAYS treasure family and friends everyday because they may not be there from day to day.😭🥺🥰🙏🏼🙏🏼 Rest in Heaven to all of those who lost their lives 😢😭🙏🏼🙏🏼🕊😇💔❤
As an adult, my daughter told me that as a child the morning of Sept 11th is the only time she can remember me crying. Sadness, frustration and anger all wrapped up in a messy little package.
May God send our enemies straight to hell.. both foreign and domestic. Too many people who forgotten, too many people have capitulated to the enemies lies and too many morally bankrupt humans are in charge in the world.
So many look at this event and wonder how , why , who and what really happened , the thing that remains is , never let hit happen again and never forget those that it happened to and their families ....... :>P
