After a deadly auto accident, a mad surgeon attempts to save his fiancee by finding a suitable female body onto which to transplant her dismembered head, which he manages to keep alive and awake while he searches desperately for a body donor. Unbeknownst to the fiancee, the surgeon has been conducting secret medical experiments at his country retreat in an attempt to perfect the art of transplanting organs, with horrific results.
