Me too - When she got mad at him and walked away at the airplane, I felt his hurt, even though she came back eventually. But when she finally called him "Dad", I knew her feelings for him had been healed, and in her heart he WAS her father. The show wasn't quite the same without him.
It doesn’t matter that Erik wasn’t Hanna’s biological father. He IS her FATHER he viewed and LOVED her as his own, to both Erik and Hanna they ARE FAMILY. They don’t need DNA to tell them otherwise and nothing will change that.
This is what i said as I watched the show and as it went on, you could see how much of a connection they had, he raised Hanna, protected her from the world. And Hanna finally realised he was just protecting her, I hate that they took him from her :(
He is basically her adoptive father. And her biological father didn't care about her real mother. He knew nothing about Hanna, until Erik contacted him.
I have been watched so many tv series in my life.but "hanna"is so special.bcoz it's where i found the best father i've ever seen in tv shows.when he died i couldn't help my self to stay calm.I was felt exhausted and my eyes burst in to tears😥❤️🙏.thanks for whoever gift us this great show.
Erik was an amazing father,He did everything he could to make hanna safe.He sacrificed himself just to keep her safe... hats off to him I cried 16 times over his death Marissa was an great person too she kept hanna safe too keeping herself in danger
I have watched this series for the third time. And I'm still crying since Eric is going to die.😢 I like the love's Eric has for Hanna's mom and the love Eric has for Hanna. I will come back to watch this series again when I have time. I love this series so much.❤
Exactly 😢 Erik Heller the real hero of this Hanna series after him only anyone even Hanna it's hard to watch this remaining series without him just now I finished season 1 then came you tube to see Erik & Hanna together interviews but I didn't get that too😢
This was the best emotional episode ever and I love it I cried when the African girl was returning home and met her mother at the airport.🥲🥲😍 Be blessed all the characters for the good work. ❤❤❤ from Nairobi Kenya 🇰🇪.
I only watched the show because of Joel Kinnaman's character, the only one that I liked in the entire season. I don't think I'll keep watching it after Erik's death
U should watch season 2 and 3 We all knows that hanna series wasn't same without him, but still it hold you on track, one of the best assassin series i have ever seen, After season 1 merissa weigler got her back, and fill the emptiness of her parents
Just now I finished season 1 literally the same I felt without Erik definitely this show is not same similar like Geralt of rivia Henry cavil in the witcher sad to see the upcoming withcher seasons without henry & now to watch remaining Hanna series 😢 but we just accept & move on enjoy the remainder bcoz Hanna there atleast
Damn, I knew he was going to die like in the movie but his death here was more sadder I feel bad for Hanna they had such a strong bond Rip Erik Heller press f to pay respects 😔
I was devastated by how season 1 ended. I knew something like that could happen because Erik was supposed to die. But I hoped they would keep him alive for a little longer. Still, he was killed and I was so upset I didn’t even watch season 2
@@Inessa_spn Me too!! The only reason I watched season two was the small thread of hope that I was clinging onto that Erik might come back...but he only came as memories😭😭😭
I was hoping for a different ending for Erik not like the movie but they still killed him Erik is definition of a badass I honestly started to hate the show early on in season 1 after Hanna got introduced to parties and got blacked for no apparent reason and then they had so many meaningless episodes with plots that deviated so much from the first couple of episodes
Tbh. It's sad but I think the character of Erik always wanted it. When Hanna got to the point she could manage on her own, I think Erik began to really let go. He carried a lot of guilt and pain inside. From his days as a soldier, and for what happened with Utrax and Johanna. Possibly feeling like he'd doomed all of these children and damaged so many women; similar to how Merissa did. The friends he lost/got killed, the danger he placed on their family's. The dysfunction of his own home, the betrayal from his mother. She was probably always like that. I think the humanization and exploration of Hanna as an outsider and young teenage girl is important. She was a girl raised in a forest for 16 years and trained to hunt and kill with no experience of the outside world. It's all alien to her and it would honestly be boring if she remained a killing machine with no interest or curiosity for mundane life. Her interest, curiosity and strangeness with the interactions she has with others makes her interesting and gives her a more rounded personality. Obviously, she's curious. She want's to know and wants to understand and see. She's like a child going outside for the first time. She shares parallels with the girls at the lab in many ways, even though Erik had the best intentions at heart. The interactions she has with Sophie are very humanizing. We're given a girl that could body a man and shoot him in the heart in the blink of an eye, but she still wants to be a child. Wants friends. Love, friendship. She wants to understand these things. She's awkward, strange, but so insanely smart and calculating and powerful. It's interesting. I get it's not everyone's cup of tea, but I prefer we see the humanization and characterization on screen and I find it really realistic. I think it'd be a bad choice if they didn't have her act like a kid. She's an assassin. But she's a 16 year old, too.
The fact Erik was injured for such a long period of time and still carried out these missions was badass
If only erik was alive for 1 more season, everything would have been so epic.
Dude fights like a devil.
NO MERCY
R.I.P Erik, when Hanna said “dad” I felt that😭
😢😭
