    Xian hit the nail on the head today MIKE...finally someone articulated it perfectly. Maybe back in SF4 days it wouldn't of been so relevant but now days pure instinct and feeling won't work alone

      Hard work definitely paid off more practicing combos in the days of sf4 where 1f links were so important. Now knowledge is so important, where a solid gameplan and critical thinking easily trumps a player that players of feeling and heart

    I feel like this is ground zero for something really special. Hoping to see more of Mike's Manon. Xian seems like he would make an amazing coach... as long as you can support the weight of the soul crushing advice he gives you along the way. Because one day Xian could be gone. Everybody could be gone.

    • @VersusVortex
      @VersusVortex  8 месяцев назад +10

      There are 2 wolves in Mike. One is the Manon. The other is the dark wolf, appearing in the darkness of night, when the rank points drop the most, and the salt is at the highest. The wolf leaps into the air and... Honda emerges from the shadows. Either way, we would love to see how Coach Xian is able to take Mike to the next level. Maybe they both qualify for Capcom Cup 24!

Not always sometimes I play in the moment and am really making decisions. Other times I am just pushing buttons however my fingers decide to. This was helpful.

    It is funny how Xian immediately calls out Mike's gimmicks on Manon. That move is minus and you go into grab every time, I don't play manon mike, but that move is minus and your opponent is too bad to do anything about it. Just goes to show the level of competition at the top, he called it in like 2 reps, 1 round.
    Also, don't feel bad Mr. Mike Rossington III, you're still a much better player than most, you're just not part of the 0.001% like Xian xD

      Practice makes perfect. @Brian_F has a great video regarding his learning process when he picked up Ed. Learning new combos and making it part of your muscle memory and system 2 brain. Fchamp recently uploaded a video about practicing anti air executions and settings for it. Warming up is definitely a great way as well to keep your mind aware on what you practiced at the start of a session.
