I saw these chicks playing live in Sydney at The Roundhouse, supporting Violent Soho. They are so cool rocking their instruments up there on stage. I think their manager needs to capitalise on that cool aspect of this all-girl band.

These lyrics are poor and reflect the continuum that women, when dressing in a male perceived sexualized way (as this band does as schoolgirls in another video, grown women dressing as schoolgirls is sexualized), and wearing make-up, which is sexualized behaviour too, don't want attention. They do want attention: it's intrinsic to the female psyche however they want to dictate the type of attention they get and that's fine but firstly, how should they do that and secondly, there are some men that are unable to determine what that is? How are men to know? There is a difference between shouting an obscenity and shouting a compliment and shouting at someone is usually perceived as aggressive anyway. In addition, the name of the band couldn't be more obvious and hypocritically blatant. Let's be clear: we all know what the phrase 'jean teaser' refers to and being prefaced with the phrase 'teen Jesus' is just a puerile attempt at some kind of school playground humour rhyming inanity. The inability of women to understand the effects of testosterone whilst expecting men to understand the effects of estrogen is a failure of feminism.

That said, why you believe I'm 'off the rails' (whatever that means) and are able to assign that kind of narrative to the written word and the way it was written would indicate some kind of agenda.
