I've noticed several Lucia concerts this year have the guys not wearing the star hats. Wondering if this is a current conversation in Nordic countries regarding the tradition, or if it is not really that important a part. Thanks!
late answer but an answer. The pointy hat guys are called "Stjärngosse" and was a part of all Lucia celebrations while i grew up in Sweden.
