Biased commentary. Roy was getting out gunned by a powerful stiff jab from the start but they only commentated on Roy’s shots even when he was missing. He got taken apart by some superb striking from all angles.

It wasn't really even close. Roy's striking was utterly outclassed by Kharitonov from the beginning.
Spot on. He was dominating with the jab and they didn't even mention it was landing until under two minutes left in the round. By then he was painting that hard jab over and over.

This is Not the Roy Nelson i was used to watching, you can tell his heart ain't in the ring anymore, probably just fighting for money. And it hurts to see a great fighter still fighting past his prime ONLY to make some money.
When you're a fighter, once you've tasted that kind of glory you can't just let it go. Most of these guys would fight with crutches or wheelchairs if they could. Nothing in life compares for them to being in that cage/ring. Unless you've experienced it yourself, it can't really be described. Your body will perish but Glory lasts forever.

Right his fight against Junior Dos Santos was a amazing fight. Roy got his ass whooped but he showed alot of heart and landed some huge shots and JDS definitely knew he was in a fight that next day

Also, maintaining those gaps/distance for creating better angle and range to get one strong shot over Sergie, the result could've been on Big Roy's favor.
Roy's only strategy is left hook and overhand right... He used to be a much better stand up fighter in his prime. Still one of the heaviest hitters to ever enter the heavyweight devision.
Oh and Herb Dean would've waited for the bell and stood him back up...

Roy’s probably a journeyman forever but how cool would it be to see him drop the IHOP, go Clubber Lang, run a few marathons, and get some head movement? Can’t be gasping open-mouthed and dropping for lackluster takedowns after eating a dozen shots. Just be killer to see him get in shape, expand his game beyond throwing haymakers, and go terrorize the light-heavyweight division.

Sergei was jabbing all night and conserved energy, then he unleashed. Excellent gameplan
Roy may have fought bad in that night, but that doesn't discredit all the other fights he had an awesome performance. I don't care if he was with that football "Uh I'm so hurt" thing, to me, Roy Nelson is still one of the best fighters in MMA history, stay up Roy, stay up.
